the words rung out, somehow louder then the ringing.

the voice came back, it definitely wasn't my own. only where was it coming from? im alone.

I groaned, trying to twist around. My chest was tight as something pushed down on it. what happened? where am i? i tried to move my fingers, sending pain shooting up my arm.
Move.
I can't....everything hurts. pain slowly creeped up my legs. something felt off, everything felt off. how did i end up here?...i was running..i think. why was i running? i was going somewhere...Yes! i had to be somewhere for some reason, was the ground shaking? I think it was. an earthquake? here? has tordat ever had an earthquake?..no, it hasn't. i remember that..from where?

Where's Emily?
It hit me like a train. Emily was there, she was panicked. I was too, but why? The ground was shaking, i remember dodging a chunk of dirt. Dirt? And something loud, like a jet engine taking off, something rushed past me then black. The pain worsened combining with a burning sensation in my chest. But where was Emily now? She screamed, she definitely did. But it was further away then it should've been. She was within arms reach after all.
