"Well i had already read the first story and it was a good all round story. And even though I thought this was also a good story all the way until the end .It kinda shocked me & not the end I was forming in my imagination at all ! The crewa luck didn't hold out and Phi Fa didn't come thru with the protection as was foretold.I was thinking more along the lines of a happier end and some follow up on at least McCauley and Sandman. But alas far be it from me to dictate an end that I never started to begin. But it did learn a wealth of knowledge thru out. Thanks for sharing Peace"

"I truly enjoyed your story it had such depth and emotion that it felt incredibly authentic. what motivated you to create a piece with such a powerful message? "
A wild ride..
"The story, the plot is good. I loved the idea of it. This story though, changes abruptly thoughout.. The way it is written, from very technical to more detailed towards the latter chapters, & then towards the end throwing in local superstition. I said this in the first book & it still fits here. The technical info bring this story a sense of realism because it makes me feel like I can follow this like a road map, fly a huey & travel this land. Makes it feel like this happened exactly like this. Almost like a journal/how to guide. But it also drags the story, because I dont need to read the take off/land process everytime, & etc. I also dont have an issue with bring in local superstition, but it felt as just something else to throw in to "build" just to create tension without a base. It would have been different if it was something built up slowly along the way. There's also alot of other repeated moments, like hearing Sandman's story of how her arrived, really don't need to read it twice, even if he's telling it to different people. Even though the main trio characters are lively & powerful, something is missing. The same can be said with the rest of the characters. They're throwaways in a way, the have a purpose but they're lacking depth. I mean come on. Stacy's story is bold & brave. Like holy heck, she lived a wild life, & the end (the epilogue specificly) is beautiful & sadly realistic. But I want more. This was also an issue in the first, although I didn't add it to my review, but it remains here. The characters need depth. There are so many great people in this story! But everyone feels shallow. They're here to tick a box & that's it. I'm gonna use Sandman again. He finally arrives, they have their moment, he's back in a plane once & that's it. There's so much build at times, but so many missed moments. I wanna feel this story more, because that time in history was full of.. everything. & this story's plot is beauty, badarse & blood. But I don't feel it, not really, not enough. It's missing something. Yet, with that said, it is a book worth reading because the plot alone. Get lost in a story meant to be lost with time."
