Prologue

The Moon Goddess created the werewolves as a way to connect the animal realm to the human realm. They were at first worshipped as gods until a few went rogue and tarnished their image. They became feared and eventually fell into myth and legend.

They were given a perfect match, their soulmates as a way to still connect with each other. When soulmates meet they feel it in their chest, like a pulling.

They won’t know who their mate is until skin meets skin. They are unable to lie to their mates as a way of connecting them in a deeper way. The two mates are able to communicate mentally with each other and hear each other’s thoughts and feelings.

If a werewolf was to reject their mate they would both live in pain and heartache until their inevitable death. Only the strongest can survive the rejection and carry on with their lives.
