PROLOGUE
Monty knew that he, his friends, and Freddy weren't perfect, not by a long shot. But he knew those imperfections didn't mean they were bad people.
Even he, Montgomery Gator, who had the worst reputation in the Glamrocks, knew that even with his outbursts of anger and bad temper, it didn't mean he was a monster. He was simply... a misunderstood lizard, judged too harshly.
Imperfections aren't pleasant, but they teach you a lot, helping you to be humble or rebellious, depending on which you prefer. Monty thought he was a bit of both.
Even so, he held his head high, ready to show them that nothing could stop him. That he was a true rockstar and that he, along with his friends... and Freddy... could show everyone who they really were and that it didn't matter if they were different; they all complemented each other and made the Glamrocks the coolest and most wonderful band of all!
Chica with her guitar, playing with the same enthusiasm she used for eating nonstop, making her a force of nature on stage.
Roxy with her keyboard, tossing her silky mane of hair, which she was so proud of and spent hours styling, exuding a singular elegance.
Monty, with his bass, playing it masterfully with his powerful claws, the lights shining behind him, demonstrating the grandeur that only a glamrock gator like him could display. The audience roared their approval!
And Freddy... He was a great singer, he admitted it. Despite his sense of rivalry with the bear, he acknowledged that Freddy had a great voice that perfectly complemented the music he and the girls played.
He was kind, sweet to people; everyone wanted to hug him. Unlike him, Monty, whom people thought twice about approaching because of his rough appearance, his loud voice, and his bad reputation, unlike that capricious bear whom everyone ran to hug!
Breathe, Monty, breathe.
Phew...
Whatever. Imperfections don't make you less than anyone. Not even a loving, well-intentioned bear.
But... There's something strange. Freddy always seemed odd to him, but now that he has this huge smile for him and his friends... He hopes it's just another one of his quirks and he's not actually planning anything weird.
To be continued...
