Loveless Marriage

Summary

When Nayla returns to Nigeria after her father’s death, she never imagines the life awaiting her. Guilt-tripped by her siblings and bound by family duty, she is forced into marriage with a wealthy stranger whose fortune is the only thing that can save her late father’s collapsing empire. But marriage brings no salvation. Her husband is cold, distant, and cruel with his words, treating her not as a partner but as a burden. With her mother miles away in the States and her siblings using her as their pawn, Nayla is left with no one to shield her from the silent storm of her new life. What begins as sacrifice slowly unravels into a prison of emotional torment, where love is absent and hope fades with each passing day. And just when she begins to wonder if her life has any meaning left, fate delivers its cruelest blow: motherhood. But for Nayla, giving life becomes the cost of her own. In the end, her marriage does not bring redemption, only tragedy. A haunting story of sacrifice, betrayal, and the suffocating weight of duty, My Loveless Marriage asks one devastating question: how much of yourself can you give before there’s nothing left?
