Summary

Work as the Guard Dog never ends. There's a new threat to the underworld. A killer that leaves no clues and a trail of carnage. Can Sky solve this before the police do or will she fall to the Ripper? The tension was high as we sat there gathered around the dining room table. We had been sitting there for the past three hours. It wasn’t so much as what we were doing that was causing the tension but the words that were being said. There was an underlying tone in the words that made them more dangerous than they appeared. We were gathered here in my apartment to play poker. Now, normally poker isn’t something so high strung if it’s a game played with friends. The people around my table were not my friends. These people were the ones that I didn’t really want to associate myself with but I had no choice. My job doesn’t let me choose this. I am the Guard Dog of the Underworld. I am the one who makes sure that the dark business world doesn’t mix with the light, normal business world. It was in that job description that I was to deal with the human trafficking rings, drug rings, and the organ trade of the black market. Actually, anything was more like it but I digress.
