The Disaster

My name is Magnus Harper, and this is how the story began: So I started to wake up and begin my seventh year of school, so some of you might think that seventh grade is the best year of school, and you should be happy. But now I'll tell you my first day of seventh grade: So I woke up, but wanted to sleep a little more, but then my mother was all like, "Darling, it's time to go to school, get ready!" Then, covering my head with the blanket, I replied, "Mom, please, just five minutes." She wouldn't budge; it was so irritating, but for some reason, I woke up and went downstairs. So my mom is a young woman, and pretty cheerful for her age, so anyways she cried, "Darling, look at you! Going to a new school," she said with a smile, and came to hug me, and somehow didn't see me suffocating through her tight grip."Mom, I think that's enough for today," I said. So she let me down and told me to get ready, so I did what I do all day: I went to my room. Now you would expect my room to be all tidy and cheerful, well, think again. I'm not the girl who likes unicorns, fairies, and stuff like that, but that was the old me. So after I struggled through my bedroom filled with clothes of various shapes, I reached the washroom and started to get ready, by brushing my teeth, since I was so lazy, I thought, "Why not do it slowly?", but for some reason, I did it so slowly, my mother screeched, "Darling, it's getting late." So I did the possible, and obvious thing, I rushed to my room, and started to pack my books, and my laptop in my black school bag. I rushed to the washroom with my uniform. For me, the outfit consisted of navy blue pants, a button-down shirt with stripes, a navy blue blazer featuring the school logo, a striped tie, and black shoes paired with a black belt. Now, after that long time of putting all of that it was time to eat breakfast. You see, my mom makes whatever I like every day to cheer me up for school, but mom, just to give advice that's not going to cheer up a seventh grader. Still, anyway, so after finishing pancakes and managing a cheerful but painful time talking to mom, I got ready and rushed to the entrance door of the house. Still, now mom called out, "Dear, aren't you going to tell dad?" "Yes, mom." But for some reason, I was filled with sorrow and sadness all of a sudden. I obediently went to the small table that held the picture of Dad with a few incense sticks and offerings. So you see, my dad died in a car crash on the way home, but the thing was so little, I didn't know what had just happened, but after the accident, my mom tried to cheer me up by doing stuff we used to do as a family, but to be honest, the more I do stuff with mom, the more i remember my dad. So I just stay alone in my room as much as possible, all I just wanted was a dad. So after a silent prayer and a few offerings to Dad. I sat in the car's front seat with Mom after a short drive to school. Mom dropped me off at the front lane road of the school. "Love you, dear." "Love you too, Mom." She kissed me on the forehead, and I hurried to school, and guess what the school bell rang. That means I have to enter my first class, so after hurriedly tossing all of the books in my locker, and taking out notebooks and other stuff, I noticed that almost all the girls and boys were late, enough of that, so I quickly ran to my class, and opened and in the classroom was a middle-aged woman who guess was our teacher, she was wearing a loose long skirt along with a buttoned suit, and from my guess she was a nice woman, and standing beside me was a young girl in a diferent uniform but instead of a pant she wore a skirt, and her name badge read "HELLEN CHLOE" in bold letters, she might be a prefect turns out that the teacher replied "Okay, students, take your pens and pouches out, we're going to the library." As she slowly turned, she saw me and the 'Chloe' girl. And she questioned, "Why are you late?" "Sorry, ma'am, um, heavy traffic," and laughed nervously. "Ok, for the new girl." She took out her class list and took a look, and then continued, "Harper, I understand," she said politely with a smile, but turned to the girl and told, " Chloe, you're a prefect, like what do you think about coming late?" "Sorry, miss, I won't do it again," she replied with embarrassment." So, everyone, let us welcome our new student, Harper." "Hey, Harper, "everyone in the class said together, "Now, what seat should I put you in?" she asked. "Don't know, your wish, I guess," I replied. "Ok, then, Anna," she called out. "Yes, ma'am," replied the girl sitting on the second bench in the middle row, who was sitting next to a boy who stood up. "Take your bag from your place, and move in with Eli," she said, pointing at a student with glasses and clean, combed hair. To be honest, I really hated him. But as an obedient child, I took my bag and moved in. And I noticed that this 'Chloe' girl was sitting in the back of me. "I really need a study buddy, eh?" I thought. "So take your stuff, everyone, we're going to the library," she said with a strong voice
