Hard boiled second grader
"I read this with much 'perspicacity', new word learned haha. I actually really liked this, I don't know why people are down on it. I wanna say it went over people's heads without seeming too pretentious. People who aren't a fan of this kind of genre like I am wont really get it. it's like a fun kiddy version of a Sam Spade novel. I see it for what it is, a nice neo-noir almost essay or an opener. It's a nice little show piece. Fun kiddy noir style diaglogue and characters, i don't see what's not to like. I can't say I'd like to see you do an actual noir story with adults because that would lose it's uniqueness but maybe you could use this as an opener to a book with a bigger mystery down the line or a series of cases like this for a children's book. I think it has a lot of potential."
Makes Me LOL
"This is a quick and interesting short story that had me laughing from the beginning. The seriousness of a not so serious topic is duly appreciated. There are some noticeable spelling and punctuation errors, but not enough to take away from the story. I think ideas/jokes such as coffee powered adults are a bit scattered and unnecessary toward the story as a whole, but enjoyable nonetheless. "
Fat Cat Review - A peculiar story for sure
"The author definitely has a unique writing style all of his own. It's very different from what I'd usually read, but I enjoyed the story nonetheless. Keep developing your skills and I'm sure your stories will continue to spark other people's interests!"
Mystery of the fat cat
"Since there was only a chapter to read, I could not rate this story well. I began to like the cat in the story and would like to read more. There were some grammatical errors which can be sorted out. Keep on writing and thanks."
Fat Cat Review
"Hmmm. Surreal or what? I read it twice and I'm afraid I'm none the wiser. Didn't do it for me - I just couldn't get a handle on it at all."
