Introduction.
Hello Everyone!
For The Devil You Follow, I wanted to try something a little different. This story leans heavily on atmosphere and imagery, so I thought it might be nice to add some visual elements to help bring that world closer to you. My goal is to make you see the story as you read it— to imagine it as vividly as I do when I write.
Whenever I start a new project, I spend a lot of time collecting references: building Pinterest boards, studying places, colors, and textures until I can feel the world breathing. So I thought, why not share that part with you too? These visuals represent how I imagine the characters and the tone of the story.
I don’t own any of the images shown below —they’re all found online from public sources— but they capture the essence of what I see when I think of this world.
