Chapter 1

“Oh, yeah... That’s it, Jana... Suck my cock. Yes... Taste it,” Caspian said huskily. He held her face, pumping harder into her mouth.

A moan escaped his partner’s lips, and Caspian’s desire intensified. His burning eyes glinted as he relentlessly thrust in and out of the woman’s red lips.

He looked at her beautiful face, the same face that had captured his attention the first time he saw her in the coffee shop his mother owned. She was a waitress, but she was too beautiful for the job. Beyond her looks, her body screamed sensuality, as if sculpted for the pleasure of men. Nearly every man who saw her went crazy with lust, and he was one of them.

The first time he saw her, he immediately wanted to take her to bed. He didn’t waste any time getting her mobile number right away and contacting her.

Caspian had no trouble getting the young woman’s attention. On the very first night he got her number, she was already exchanging flirty messages with him. The next day, he asked her out on a dinner date that led them to his condo.

Her lips clung to his shaft, sucking him deeper. Oh, man. She had talented lips, and it was driving him wild. Caspian squeezed his eyes shut as a hoarse groan escaped his throat.

He grabbed a condom packet, tearing it open with his teeth. Jana looked up at him. He gave her a meaningful smile. She understood. She took the condom and put it on his throbbing erection herself.

“Hmm... are you ready?” he asked, his eyes hazy with desire. He crushed his lips against hers in a kiss that was aggressive, demanding, and intense.

“Ohhh... C-Caspian...” He touched her wet thighs and inserted two fingers inside her. Another moan escaped Jana’s lips. “Ahhh, Caspian! More, more!”

He caressed her, feeling her burning need—the need for him to fill her.

He lifted her and laid her on his bed. She spread her legs for him. He smiled wickedly. If there was one thing he liked about his women, it was their willingness to give him what he wanted. All the women he’d been with were ready to respond to his fiery kisses. In return, he gave them worldly pleasure.

Moments later, Jana’s moans filled the room as Caspian thrust between her thighs. He wanted to groan with pleasure. This woman felt so good! It took all his self-control not to come immediately. He always wanted his women to come before he did; that’s how he knew he was satisfying his partner.

“Oh, my gosh, Caspian! Yes, fuck me hard... Harder... Faster... Ohhhh!” Jana moaned loudly.

He smirked, continuing to pleasure her as he thrust hard and roughly into her. He couldn’t believe she knew how to use her muscles. It was unbelievable because she was already so tight. She didn’t need to do that. Ahh, this woman was driving him crazy.

“You like my cock, huh? You like it?”

She opened her languid eyes and gave him a seductive look. “Yes, Caspian, I like it. It’s so big... You have a very big cock, honey. So, fuck me hard!”

His eyes grew smokier. “You want me to fuck you hard, huh? I’ll give it to you, Jana.”

“Oh, fuck, yes! Fuck me hard. Now.”

He didn’t wait another moment. He claimed her—fast, deep, and full of intensity. He drove into her completely, again and again, thrusting with pure need...

“Oh, C-Caspian, honey...! I’m coming... Yes, I’m coming...!” Jana panted.

“Yeah, I know. Come for me, honey,” he said, gritting his teeth. It wasn’t long before he felt her tremble beneath him, a sign that she was reaching her climax.

“Oh my God!”

A few moments later, he felt his release begin to build. He pulled out and brought his throbbing erection to her mouth.

“Suck my cock, honey. Suck it hard and make me come in your mouth...”

With a knowing smile, she reached for him.

“Hmm... just how good is this, honey?”

He gave her a mischievous wink. “You’ve tasted it a few times. You know exactly how good it is.”

She giggled and took him into her mouth. “Ohhh...”

“Hmm... So good. Nothing’s better.”

He held the back of her head and pressed her down onto his cock. “Stop talking, Jana. Just suck.”

After a few more sucks, he unleashed his hot passion in her mouth. He smiled when he saw her swallow.

Oh, how he loved seeing his women swallow his hot load of cum. It left him feeling completely satisfied.

After their heated session, he started getting dressed. Jana looked at him, confused.

“Hey, where are you going, honey?” she asked, still lying naked on the bed.

It was pleasing to see her body—so sexy and hot. Alluring. Add to that her beautiful face, and it made him want to strip his clothes off and join her in bed again. But he couldn’t. He had things to do.

“Some important business, Jana.”

“Oh, you’re leaving me?”

He nodded. “For now, yes. You can go back to work or hang out with your friends, right?”

“I don’t like going to work. It’s tiring and stressful.”

“Then go see your friends.”

She frowned. “Hmph. I don’t have friends, you know that. And I don’t want to go out. I want to stay here with you. Don’t you want that? We can spend our time having sweaty, wild sex.”

He smirked. “I like the idea of fucking you all day, Jana, but I really have to go.”

She rolled her eyes at him. “Then just take me with you. I’m your girlfriend now, right?”

Caspian froze and stared at her. “Jana...”

“What?”

“We’ve already talked about this.”

She pouted.

“You know what I want from you, Jana.” He only wanted sex from her. Nothing else.

Jana clenched her jaw. “Okay.”

He smiled. “Good. So, you want me to give you a ride?”

She nodded.

After dropping Jana off, Caspian headed to his office. He had a great deal of responsibility on his shoulders, especially now that his father had completely entrusted the family company to him. His family owned Montenegro Constructions, and last week, they had branched out into real estate. Because his father expected more from him, he now had a greater role to play. Caspian wasn’t sure if he should be happy about that.

Oh, well.

His phone rang, and he quickly took the call from his secretary. “Yes, Miss Mendoza?”

“Sir, Mr. Hidalgo is here.”

“Okay. Send him in.”

A few seconds later, the door opened to reveal his friend, Andres. “What’s up, bro?”

Caspian raised his eyebrows. “And what brings you here? Shouldn’t you be busy chasing after Ellen?” It was no secret that his friend had a thing for his cousin Marco Santini’s girlfriend. But before she was with Marco, Ellen had been with Andres’s own brother, Andrei. If Andres weren’t his friend, Caspian probably would have smacked him upside the head long ago for his foolishness.

Andres was a certified bad boy, but the one woman he actually liked, he couldn’t even manage to court. His brother and cousin both beat him to it.

Andres just smiled. “How about you and Jana?” he asked, changing the subject.

Caspian couldn’t help but smirk. “Well, what can I say? She’s a good lover. I think she’ll stick around for a while.”

“I don’t think so, man.” Andres sat down in front of him, a strange smile on his lips that made Caspian’s eyebrows furrow.

“What do you mean?”

Andres handed him a photo of their friend Bryan. He was not alone. His housekeeper, Angela, was also in the photo. Caspian's eyes widened. From the looks of it, the photo was taken at a judge’s office!

“What the fucking hell?” he asked, looking at Andres in confusion.

“I know what you’re thinking.” Andres paused and grinned. “And you’re correct. They got married.”

Caspian’s jaw dropped in disbelief. It seemed like just yesterday that the woman had become Bryan’s housekeeper. Last month, their group of friends had made a bet about them. The others bet that Angela would be the one to tame their playboy friend, while he bet that Bryan wouldn’t even give her the time of day. The woman was pretty, sure, but he didn’t believe she was the one who could reform his friend.

“No shit?” Caspian said, still in disbelief. He knew his friend’s type. He would never go for a simple, conservative woman. He was always into sexy and classy types. Besides, the two of them were just alike.

“Believe it, man. Bryan married Angela.”

“Has our friend lost his mind? Or maybe he was put under a spell?”

“That’s ridiculous. You know that stuff isn’t real, Caspian,” Andres said, laughing. “Maybe Bryan just really loves her. Would he marry her if he didn’t? Besides, you’re not Bryan. Why are you reacting like this?”

“Fuck, are you forgetting that I made a bet and lost!”

Andres roared with laughter. “I haven’t forgotten. That’s why I came here, so you’d find out.”

Caspian pressed a hand to his forehead as a headache began to throb. What now? It looked like he was about to surrender his beloved Ferrari to his friends—the first car his mother had ever given him, a gift for graduating with his degree in industrial engineering. He still drove that car. Caspian treasured everything that came from his mother, which was why he wanted to beat himself up for betting it.

“But don’t worry, man. We’re not going to take your precious Ferrari right away. There’s one condition.”

“What?”

“You have to accept our dare.”

“What dare?”

Andres handed him another photo—a picture of a woman.

Caspian’s attention was immediately drawn to her beautiful eyes, to her entire face. It was as if everything about her demanded his focus. Something pulled him in, making him stare.

She’s pretty.

“I know she’s beautiful, man, but you might melt her picture from staring so hard.”

Caspian drew a sharp breath, unable to tear his eyes from the photo. “Who is she?”

“She’s Clarissa Ramirez.”

“Clarissa...” Caspian uttered, as if in a daze. He knew the name was ordinary and simple. He guessed he would forget it in a few moments. But not now, not when he knew how beautiful the owner of that face was.

With her innocent expression, she looked like an angel. A princess from an old legend, the kind who knew nothing of lust and worldly pleasures.

He clenched his jaw. Obviously, they were not a match. She was a pretty woman, no doubt, but he didn’t get involved with women like her. She looked so precious, so sweet and gentle. And he didn’t mess with her kind.

Caspian’s type was women like Jana: game for anything, wild and adventurous, women who could keep up with all the worldly things he knew.

He would burn in hell if he just played around with someone like Clarissa. She was like an angel, and he was far from being one.

Caspian felt something like acid churn in his stomach. He took a harsh breath and finally looked away from the photo. “What does she have to do with the dare?”

“You have to make her fall in love with you, man. That’s the dare from the guys.”

His eyes widened. He shot to his feet. “What? Are you out of your mind?”

“Whoa, why so surprised? You’re used to making women fall for you, aren’t you?”

“But I don’t mess with good girls. You know my type, Andres.”

“That’s why they picked Clarissa. Why would they give you someone you can easily attract? With Clarissa, they’re sure you’ll have a hard time. She’s not just an ordinary girl, man. This is just the first time you’ve seen her picture. Of all the men who’ve courted her, not a single one has gotten anywhere. She’s a snob.”

“God, no matter how much you try to get her attention, she won’t give you the time of day. Even our other friends failed. That’s how stuck-up she is. Not to mention she’s something of an Amazon; she even punched Mico once.”

“Shit. Are you serious?” He stared at his friend, his eyes wide. The woman must be really special. Caspian knew how skilled Mico was with women; when it came to style, many were captivated by him.

“I’m not lying just to get you interested. This is your dare. If you don’t want to accept it, we’re easy to deal with, man. You know what the alternative is.”

“Fuck it, game on!” He had no other choice. He was already in too deep, so why not just see it through?

Caspian looked at the photo again. He couldn’t stop the excitement spreading through his system. Something told him this was going to be fun.

He couldn’t wait to meet Clarissa.

Clarissa clicked her tongue in annoyance. How could she not be? Of all the times to get caught in the rain. To make matters worse, there was nowhere to take shelter except for a large mango tree by the side of the road. The rain was pouring down, and she was already soaked.

She flagged down a tricycle, but it just passed her by. “Damn it!” she muttered irritably. “The one time I actually need a ride, you all decide to be picky. But when I don’t need one, you won’t stop pestering me!” The cold was starting to seep into her bones, and she was sure she’d have it by the time she got home. Son of a bitch.

She had no one to blame but herself. Why hadn’t she just accepted the offer from Adam—her handsome boss—to drive her home? They had both come from the birthday party for Zeki, the co-owner of the grocery store where she worked. She had been about to leave when Adam made the offer, but she had to be difficult. This downpour must be her karma.

Clarissa sighed. There was nothing she could do about it now. Even if she could turn back time, she would still turn him down. Not because she was playing hard to get, but because she didn’t want to lead him on. It was no secret that her boss had a crush on her. With his constant invitations, she could tell he was interested. She’d have to be an idiot not to get the hint.

“Hi, Miss.”

Clarissa turned to the voice. A large man was approaching—he had a big belly, a bald head, and bloodshot, bulging eyes. He was carrying a bottle of liquor. By the looks of him, he wasn’t just drunk. He seemed to be on drugs, too.

Clarissa swallowed hard. Drug dealing was rampant in that area. No matter how many times the police made arrests, the addicts never seemed to learn. She suddenly felt a surge of fear.

“Are you all alone, Miss?” The man stepped closer. “Want some company? It’s cold out. Maybe you’d like me to warm you up.”

Fuck. Clarissa backed away, sensing the danger. “I’m with someone, mister. Don’t even try anything.”

The man laughed, a sound that underscored just how dangerous her situation was. She was alone, and even though Clarissa knew some self-defense, it wouldn’t be enough to take down a man this size.

She quickly started to walk away. She had only taken five steps when the man grabbed her arm and yanked her back. “Let go of me!” Clarissa screamed.

The man laughed, his eyes glinting. “You’re coming with me! Don’t struggle!”

She slapped him, kicked him, and scratched him, but it had no effect. The grip on her arm was crushing. “Let go of me, you animal!”

“I told you not to struggle, you bitch!” The man’s palm cracked across her cheek.

Clarissa’s eyes burned. God, help me, please.

As if her prayer had been answered, she saw an approaching car out of the corner of her eye. It gave her the courage to fight back harder. She would not let this man take advantage of her!

“You son of a—”

“Hey!”

The man looked toward the voice. Another man had gotten out of the car and was rushing toward them, his fist already swinging. He punched Clarissa’s attacker, forcing him to let go. She scrambled away. The rain continued to pour. Like a scene from a movie, Clarissa watched as the tall stranger rained blow after blow on the man who had accosted her, watching until her attacker was defeated and ran away.

The man was tall and masculine. He looked too rough, too untamed... He reminded her of a gladiator.

Clarissa bit her lower lip as he slowly turned to face her. His corded muscles moved underneath his wet shirt as he walked toward her. The soaked fabric did little to hide the powerful build of his muscular body.

“Are you okay, Miss?”

The sound of his voice sent a jolt through her veins. It was low and silky, like dark chocolate and warm honey. Something about it made her tremble. Shaking, Clarissa nodded and avoided his eyes. “Y-yes...”

“Are you hurt?” His hand came up and brushed her cheek where the man had struck her. “Did he...”

She pulled her face away. “No, it’s okay. Thank you for your help.”

He looked familiar. She felt like she had seen this man before...

“What are you doing out here? It’s pouring. Why are you in a place like this?”

“I got caught in the rain and couldn’t find shelter. I should go. Thanks again for your help.” Clarissa was about to turn away when he took her by the arm.

“Where are you headed? Do you need a ride?”

“N-no, I—”

“It doesn’t look like you’ll find a ride anytime soon. It’s dangerous to wait. That guy might come back. Let me take you home.”

He was right. The man could come back. Besides, she had been standing in the rain for a while. She could already picture herself in the mirror—soaked to the bone and shivering. She could get sick for a week if she didn’t get home soon. She had no other choice. If she passed up his offer, she might regret it.

“O-okay.” They both got into the car, dripping wet. She couldn’t help but feel embarrassed. “I’m sorry about this. I got you involved, Mister...”

The man smiled. “It’s okay. It’s my pleasure to help. And by the way, my name is Caspian.”

“C-Caspian?” Clarissa repeated. She was sure she’d heard that name from her coworkers.

“Yes. Caspian Montenegro.”

Her lips parted as she finally took a good look at his face. She wasn’t mistaken. She thought the rumors her neighbors told about this man were just gossip. She thought her lovestruck acquaintances were just exaggerating their admiration for him. But it was all real.

Clarissa swallowed, unable to stop looking at him. Now that she was sitting next to Caspian Montenegro, she realized just how handsome he was. He wasn’t your typical eye candy. Every angle of his face was blessed with good looks. You could stare at him all day and never get tired of the view.

She quickly averted her gaze when she noticed a mischievous smile form on his lips.

God, Clarissa. How could you just stare at him like that?

She knew who this man was from the stories she’d heard. Who in their town didn’t know of Caspian Montenegro? He was the town’s lady-killer. A certified bad boy. He had a revolving door of women who ended up heartbroken after he was done playing with them. But instead of learning their lesson and avoiding Caspian, it only seemed to add to his charisma. At the end of the day, the flirts still flocked to him.

Clarissa’s gaze toward him turned acidic. Men like him were worthless. She had no idea what women saw in him. Other than his physical attributes, there was nothing else attractive about him.

But don’t forget, he helped you. He saved you from that creep who was about to assault you.

Well, that was true. She owed him, at least for that. If it weren’t for him, she wouldn’t have escaped. But that didn’t mean she would forget she was in the presence of a notorious playboy.

“Am I too handsome for you?” Caspian asked with a smirk, having noticed her staring.

Clarissa’s eyes narrowed. It seemed the rumors she’d heard were incomplete. No one mentioned he was also arrogant.

Not just arrogant. Conceited.

“You flatter yourself.”

“Then why were you staring at me?”

“Is it wrong to want to remember the face of the person who helped me?” She tried to stop herself from sounding sharp, but it came out naturally. Instead of being put off by her tone like most womanizers were when she got snippy, his smile only widened.

“What are you smiling at?”

“I just noticed you get even more beautiful when you’re being sharp-tongued.”

One of Clarissa’s eyebrows shot up. “And I just noticed that playboy lines are really worn out these days. Can’t you think of anything new?”

“I think you’re really pretty.”

Clarissa rolled her eyes. She knew it was just his way of sweet-talking her. Caspian laughed, a sensual sound that reminded her not to fall for it.

“Okay, okay. I’ll take you home.” He asked for her address, and she gave it to him.

“So what were you doing back there? It’s a good thing I passed by. It’s really dangerous for a woman to be alone.”

She didn’t answer, feeling her lips begin to tremble. She wrapped her arms around herself. Fuck. She shouldn’t have let herself get so soaked. The last time this happened, she’d had a fever for three days.

“Here.” Clarissa’s gaze flew to Caspian. He handed her his jacket. He was looking at the road, but she could feel his attention was on her, a small smile playing on his lips. “I know you need it. Please, take it.”

“Th-thanks.” She inhaled his expensive cologne, which seemed to be permanently infused into the jacket. His masculine scent hit her in the gut. Fresh, sexy, and dangerous...

“So, why were you there? You still haven’t answered my question.”

“I was at a friend’s birthday party.” Zeki had invited her. He was a former coworker, and she’d quickly grown fond of him. He was bisexual, which was why. If he were a straight man, she probably would have kept her distance.

“And you got caught in the rain?”

“Yes.”

“Didn’t your boyfriend come to pick you up?”

Clarissa raised an eyebrow. “Why do you ask so many questions?”

Caspian smirked and glanced at her. “Is it a crime to ask?”

“I don’t have a boyfriend.”

“A beautiful woman like you?”

She rolled her eyes at him again. “Is it a requirement for a woman to have a boyfriend? I don’t think so. Only you men seem to have that requirement.”

“I don’t have a girlfriend either,” he said, shooting her another glance.

Clarissa frowned. As if she didn’t know him. He might not know her, but she knew all about him from what she’d heard. Even at work, she heard stories about how he messed with women. This was the first time she’d seen him in person, but based on his actions and words, she knew the rumors were true.

“Why?” Caspian asked again.

“Why what?”

“Why don’t you have one?”

Oh, please. No one had told her he was this persistent. “Because I don’t need one. I don’t need a man in my life,” she said curtly.

“Or are you just picky?”

“I’m not.”

“If I were to court you, would you say yes?”

She gasped at his question. What the hell?! Her eyes narrowed as she stared at him. His eyes were fixed on the road, but she could see the mischief in them.

Did he think she was one of those women who would easily fall for his seductive smile? That one smile would be enough to get her into bed? Huh, no way.

“Of course not,” she said firmly. She raised an eyebrow as she watched his jaw drop. “If you were to court me, I’m telling you right now: you don’t stand a chance.”
