Outnumbered
Hello!
My name is Callie!
And I was living a pretty normal life, but then one day a bunch of trolls! entered my village and everyone in my village had to run away because we were outnumbered!
Ahhhhhhhhhh!!!…
Well, anyway, I got separated from everybody I knew in the chaos; but I was kind of a rolling stone anyway, and so it didn’t really bother me too much that I was on my own.
It did bother me though that my home and belongings were now all in the hands of the trolls, but what could I do about that?…
I mean, maybe if I managed to create a crazy weapon or if I got an army together then I could take on the trolls; but that didn’t seem like it was very likely to happen…
And so now it was all about figuring out how to live my life now, and I ended up walking into a forest where I saw a little cabin that looked like it might be abandoned…
And so I walked up to the cabin and peered though the windows, and I didn’t see anyone…
And then I tried opening the front door, and it worked!…
And then I noticed a bunch of paperwork on a table, and so I walked over to the table because I was curious to see what the paperwork was about…
It turned out that the paperwork detailed a big plan to conquer the village that I had just fled from, and so it was now obvious that this cabin had belonged to either one troll or multiple trolls; and it made me very angry to look at the paperwork that detailed their evil plot, but the fact that this had been a troll cabin seemed to strongly suggest that I could live here now without worrying about an owner of the cabin coming back to bother me.
I mean, whoever’d lived here had clearly marched off to conquer the village that I’d been living in; and so the odds that they’d return to this cabin seemed pretty unlikely since the homes that were in the village that they’d conquered me out of were significantly more spacious and comfortable than this little cabin was.
That said, though; the cabin wasn’t the worst place ever, and there was also even some food and drinks in it; and so I was definitely thinking that living in the cabin for at least a while would make sense for me to do.
And so I then drank some water and ate some food, and I contemplated my new situation…
I mean, it was certainly a bad situation; though it wasn’t quite a worst case scenario, and I was glad that I’d found the almost-certainly-abandoned cabin…
And it also struck me that I didn’t really know much about what creatures might be living in these woods…
I mean, my next door neighbors had been humans and cats and dogs and so on when I’d been living in the village; but who were my neighbors now?…
Maybe bears?…
Or pythons?…
Or hyenas?…
I supposed that I would find out…
And, I mean, I didn’t think that any bears, hyenas, or pythons that might live around here would be likely to hunt me down; but that didn’t mean that a confrontation couldn’t happen, and there might be other creatures around who’d be more likely than bears, hyenas, and pythons to attack me…
And so at least I had a home base that presumably wouldn’t get attacked, but I’d probably want to proceed with caution in regards to traveling around the forest…
And maybe some offensive and defensive weaponry might be good too…
Which made me wonder if perhaps there were some weapons in the cabin…
Hmmm…
I looked around a bit, and I soon found some pretty effective-looking armor and some various weapons that included an unmarked spray weapon, a sword, a crossbow, a club, and a dagger!
And so this meant that I now had a pretty decent assortment of weaponry that might definitely come in handy!…
And so now that I felt pretty settled in the cabin, I realized that I was actually feeling reasonably tired, and so I decided to go to sleep.
The bed in the cabin was decent enough, and so I soon made sure that the cabin’s door was locked, and then I laid down in the bed and went to sleep…
