Some ancient texts claim that beings once descended from the stars into the valleys of Babylon and Nineveh. Egyptian magicians, they say, could breathe life into lifeless stone.
To enrich your knowledge and curiosity, we’ve gathered some of the most intriguing and mysterious stories from world history, stories we’ll continue to share with you, one tale at a time.
Our first tale begins in the ancient land of Egypt.
The Pharaoh was warned by his astrologers: a son would be born to him, and that very child would one day be his killer. Fearing the pharaoh’s reaction to the prophecy, the Pharaoh’s queen secretly placed her infant son in a small boat and released him into the currents of the Nile.
That child, a prince of Egypt by blood, was found and raised in the humble home of an engineer. He grew up known only as Zayn.
Years later, fate unveiled the truth, Zayn discovered he was the Pharaoh’s son. He reunited with his mother, the Queen. But just as destiny brought them together, betrayal tore them apart. A trusted friend turned traitor, murdering the Pharaoh and the Queen, and claiming the throne for himself. Zayn was exiled, cast out of his own homeland.
Grief stricken, he visited his mother’s grave. There, a divine voice blessed him with immortality: he would live forever, until the world comes to an end.
Zayn then boarded a merchant ship, seeking a new path. But when he woke up the next morning, every sailor and the captain had vanished. Alone on the open sea, the ship sailed on, drifting toward an unknown, unseen destination.
