Misty’s well-ordered life turns upside down when her friend and fellow witch disappears without a trace.

Misty took a certain comfort in being a run-of-the-mill witch. She stayed in her lane after everything that had happened to her in the past. Of course, nothing stays the same. She was called into her Coven when a mysterious box appeared, and it just so happens that one of her Coven members disappeared at that exact moment. Misty had experience in such matters and contacted the police, and they wanted her to figure out what to do.

Detective Felix Mills thought Misty was out of his life for good. But as with all good things, she had returned, but with a magical problem, and needed a typical cop to help. He couldn’t, wouldn’t turn her away, not with all their history. Now they were tangling with the magical, mundane, and entwined in each other again.
