Summary

Emma Hartley thought inheriting her grandmother's lakeside inn would be a fresh start—a chance to escape her corporate burnout and rebuild something meaningful. But Pine Hollow isn't the quiet small town she remembers from childhood summers. Strange things are happening: sabotage at the inn, animal attacks in the woods, and a brooding contractor who watches her with an intensity that's both thrilling and terrifying.

To my dear readers

Updated 11/30:

I just started to update the new novel, How I Met Three Alphas.

https://www.inkitt.com/stories/1605404

I would appreciate if you add it to your reading list. I will keep updating daily, maybe 2-4 chapters per day in the next month.

Enjoy.

Updated 11/21:

Thank you for all the support and feedback.

I took some time to review and edit all the chapters, particularly on some of the supporting characters' errors, polish some sentences, and fix some story bugs.

Now I will move on to a new title, not the same series as this one, but also a werewolf romance story with harem tropes.

HoweverI promise I will continue writing this Pine Hollow series.

I hope you will like it too.

Updated 11/11:

This is my first time writing a werewolf novel, and there were many struggles along the way, but fortunately, I made it. I love Emma and Caleb so much because they are strong and natural.

This is the first book in a trilogy I’ve conceived, and I hope it will be as simple and easy to read as possible, so as to bring you love and peace.

Thank you very much for reading, and please feel free to offer any ideas for the characters and the next book in this series.

I may take a small break, edit this book, and see you in the next book!

Let S.J. know what you thought about this chapter!
