My Mafia Madness 15 (This series seriously ruined me, so I adore it beyond words!)
"PERFECTION is an insufficient word to describe this book and the entire series. In the best way possible, the entire storyline, written in this impeccable writing style and such a thrilling action, broke my entire spirit and made me genuinely suffer from all these horrific actions that were brought to the Romano family. I lost count of how many times I couldn't hold back my tears, sometimes because of unforgettable terrors that made my hands tremble with fear, other times from happiness at heartwarming, sweet moments within the family. Alexa's shoot and almost life loss were enough to sink my heart, yet her amnesia was overwhelming. Though this unfortunate event hit hard, it created the perfect opportunity to relive the love thrills from the beginning of their relationship. Showing an unimaginable amount of patience and understanding towards his wife and her need to recover, while also displaying his endless devotion and veneration of her, Dante's efforts were eventually rewarded with reciprocal affection (and *a lot* of much-welcomed spice 🔥🔥🔥). From the thrills and shy demeneour of building the trust with a person you have a crush on, at first, to re-becoming that power couple that is still obsessed with each other after all these years... this type of never-ending mutual attraction is just mesmerising, the best one that ever exists. This outstanding blend between sweet romantic moments and rough intimacy that could easily turn on the most demanding people is just remarkable. The dark parts made the story so close to reality, yet their chemistry and feelings are surreal, and my gratitude for going through their relationship and feeling it with every part of me, goes beyond the moon. The descriptive methods of torture made me kick my feet with excitement and uncontrollably giggle like a maniac. The details of such sufferings to someone who had it coming are a good enough reason to enlighten the reader's mood and to show that eventually, everything comes to its place. Yet, these torments exceeded any of my expectations, I could easily feel how I resembled much to that "sparkled-eyes" emoji. That dreamlike demeanour of a powerful man, who controls everything with his strong aura inside the torture cell (or any room), while being sadistic and charming all at once... hmm, he's definitely worth fantasising over. Since this is somehow the end of the story in which Alexa and Dante centred the action, I have to recall some of the scenes that clung to my soul. That moment between Roberto and Matteo left me speechless: hearing "I'm sorry, Roberto" with "Addio, fratellino", between all the emotional set, was the hardest goodbye I have ever experienced (usually I'm unbothered by these types of scenes, but my engrossment in this series got me engaged in every line). Besides the relations inside the Romano family, I can't overcome my joy when I also think about the secondary couples, such as Becky&Nicola, or Willow&Roberto. I can't relate how happy I am for all of them, emphasising everything we long for: from the sexy alone time for the couples, to all the laughter, support, caring and devotion towards each other. I genuinely loved every interaction with them. As each character is perfectly placed in the story, from the villain who tore my heart apart, to the perfect MMC, the fierce women, the loyal men and all the ups and downs that they had to experience, the writing style couldn't be any better. After all the grief that I experienced and some of the sorrowful repercussions that remained till the end, the last few chapters made everything feel better, focusing on the heartwarming aspects and spicy sets. I might repeat it, but I couldn't keep my enthusiasm low enough and those giggles and foot-kickings were unstoppable. Not to mention, besides new unlocked kinks, "Bella" definitely remains my favourite nickname! As the mysteries unfold and the much-awaited outcomes are revealed (along with many pleasant surprises), the book obviously leaves a serious cliffhanger, making the next series (and the others from Bec Middleton) "a must" that screams to be immediately added to the TBR. I was totally devastated and emotionally ruined by this series, and I adored every bit of it! 🖤"
