Fast pace, straight to the point
"I had no idea about the Indian freedom struggle but felt curious when I read the description. It was a very short read, and I finished it in an hour or so. I liked the way the author has used real life situation from British colonial times in India. I had to do a bit of research to find out who he was referring to in the first few chapters (like I said I don't know much about Indian freedom struggle). But, it became a fun activity as the author had mentioned dates and places, and I was able to find out who he was referring to. To honor the theme, even I am not going to mention the name here. I am assuming that anyone not Indian will not know about the name either. So, read and do some research. I thought that was very unique story telling when it comes to historical fiction and it created a sense of curiosity for me. I have read his other books as well. Jasveer's narration, as usual is very lucid and fast paced. With this one he didn't want to add too many elements and kept it straight forward and to the point; hence a very short read. Since this is The First Heist, I am assuming that more in this series will follow. Can't wait to read the next one."
