THE VENGEANCE
It was the night of 15th October. The Arkanian Military, a.k.a the Crescent Army, was stationed along the eastern border. From the mountains of Narkinsin in the north to the great Vester Lake in the south, stretched the 986 artillery cannons of Arkania. The soldiers were ready to fire. They were prepared to decimate the Hectagon Army of the Eastern Front. Only waiting for the command of Colonel Yornus.
A car stopped in front of the command centre of Egnisk HQ. The Colonel and a Major stepped out of the car and went inside. They entered the communication room. Colonel Yornus was about to give the command. He checked the mic and spoke.
“Three days ago, the enemies murdered Michaela Zarkis, the hero who founded our country. Michaela stood against Zaphlis’s tyranny, inspiring hope when we were at our lowest and empowering us when we felt helpless. Now, he is gone. Additionally, Ferry Ferling, the hero of the Crescent Army and Arkania, was killed while defending our leader.
Now they threatened us. They told us to either surrender or lose. But we…we are Arkanians. We never submit to tyranny. We will fight back, and we will keep fighting back till eternity. We will avenge our dead.”
The soldiers stood straight beside the artillery cannons. They were ready to decimate the enemy. They heard the words of Colonel Yornus through their comms.
“We, the Crescent Army, will avenge every Arkanian killed by the Hectagon Army. Now…the soldiers of Arkania, destroy the enemy.
Initiate Operation Heaven’s Tears!” Colonel Yornus’s voice blared through the comms of every soldier.
And hence, the biggest assault in history was launched by the Nation of Arkania.

“On the night of 15th October, 2040, the Nation of Arkania launched the biggest artillery assault on the Hectagon Army of the Eastern Front. The 986 artillery cannons of Arkania began to bombard the Hectagon Army camps at 8 pm. On 12th October, the supreme commander of Arkania, Michaela Zarkis, was killed after failed talks of a ceasefire. The central command of the Hectagon Alliance issued a final ultimatum: either surrender or die, and was given until October 17th to finalise its answer. But Arkanians replied with constant artillery bombing.”
“This is day two of the Arkanian operation Heaven’s Tears. The Hectagon Army is in total scramble. There are reports of major losses.”
“This is day three of the Arkanian assault. They have been bombing for three days constantly”
“This is day four, and the bombing has stopped. But…the Hectagon Forces have been completely decimated.”
