Summary

In the peaceful world of Tsukimori, everything seems perfect. The people always smile, the harvest never fails, and even when strange creatures attack, no one ever gets hurt. For siblings Niko and Naina, this perfect world hides an uneasy truth — they always seem to know what to do, as if their lives are being controlled. When they meet Eiji, a mysterious boy from another world, their lives change forever. He reveals that Tsukimori is not real — it’s a simulation, a world built to imitate perfection. Niko and Naina are the only ones who can see the truth because of a glitch in the system. As they uncover the secrets of their existence, the siblings must face an impossible choice: remain in a beautiful illusion or break free to discover the painful, imperfect reality beyond. In the end, only one can escape. And one must stay behind to keep the world from falling apart.

Chapter 1: The world of wonders

Niko and Naina lived in Tsukimori, a strange village where life always seemed too perfect. The people laughed, the harvest never failed, and even when monsters attacked, nobody was ever truly hurt.

Niko would often sit on the roof of their small wooden home at night, watching the three moons glow in the sky.

“Brother,” Naina whispered once, tugging on his sleeve as she joined him. “Why do we always know what to do when creatures attack? It’s like… the answers are already inside our heads.”

Niko frowned, gazing at the glowing moons.

“I don’t know. Maybe it’s just the way our world works. But… doesn’t it feel strange to you? As if we’re acting out something already written.”

Naina lowered her head, uneasy.

“I feel it too. Like we’re being… watched.”
