Nadine and Charlie
"I loved how the author described the scenes so well, felt like I was watching a movie or the characters were right in front of me "
Sweet.
"It's so nice to see these two having a break from the dangers of their job."
A wonderful, heartwarming little Christmas Story <3
"Nothing less was to be expected from this wonderful author. A touching, heartwarming story set around the holidays, featuring our favorite characters Nadine and Charlie. Immerse yourself in this world and discover the differences between families and their personal lives. 5 stars as always. I can only hope that many more great stories will follow. Outstanding writing with plenty of wit, charm, and depth."
Sweet, spicy, heady yet emotional--just like mulled wine, perfect for a white Christmas with family.
"Seeing Charlie and Nadine's relationship develop, meeting their families, and getting to know their backgrounds was fun. Sweet, spicy, heady, emotional, a bit painful and such fun, and funny, every chapter is a ride. I would compare the story to spiced mulled wine, perfect for a white Christmas with family drama and spending time with loved ones, some nice, some not so nice, but always a part of one's life. It sure captures the highs and lows of the holiday spirit :) "
Sweet holiday story
"This sweet tale is a follow up to the author's earlier and more dramatic story about how the main characters met. I haven't finished the first one yet, but I love to see their happily-ever-after beginning in this short story. Setting it at Christmas, and showing both of their families with drastically different attitudes and interactions, really brought out the building love that the main characters have for each other. Some little bits of secret spice in their childhood homes really hit the spot too. Great read!"
Nobody Dies!
"It was great to see Nadine and Charlie enjoy the mundane...a Christmas with both families. No one trying to kill them, no killers being chased. Doesn’t mean they’re without peril. Nadine’s family is challenging at best. Charlie’s family is warm and fuzzy but his sister is not above making things at least embarrassing. Nadine might have just had the biggest Christmas miracle of all...."
