Zoey looked at her hands, furrowing her eyebrows and biting her lip in deep thought. While she appreciated him for offering to be her plus one and fake boyfriend for appearances and to save face, she couldn’t help but feel guilty about dragging him into her family drama, especially when there was a lot he didn’t know about.
