This book consumed my life for three days straight. I was staying up until 2–3 in the morning every night because I simply could not put it down. From the very first chapter, I was hooked and needed to know what would happen next. One of my favorite things about this book was the character development. The characters felt real, flawed, and easy to become invested in. I found myself attached to almost everyone—except Courtney. Her trifling ass had me rolling my eyes more than once! The story was engaging, emotional, and addictive in all the best ways. If you’re looking for a book that will keep you turning pages long after you should be asleep, this is definitely one you need to read. I loved this book so much that I would absolutely buy a hardcover edition to add to my trophy shelf if it was available. I really can’t recommend this book enough!

"Emotional, klar geschrieben und mit einer gut nachvollziehbaren Handlung. Die Protagonisten sind charmant gezeichnet. Unglaubwürdig fand ich jedoch das Ende: Dass ein gestandener Soldat in den letzten Kapiteln zu so einer Weichkirsche mutiert, passt einfach nicht zu seiner Figur. Dennoch wirklich lesenswert!"

"Love the book about Luke and Chloe, all the drama in their story and how they ended up falling for each other. There was great action in the story surrounding the threat on Chloe's life, and some very emotional times too. I really liked how they came to love each other and how they deep down really needed each other. Great book!! "
