Chapter 1
Hi my name is Ayesh my mom died, giving birth to me and I had my dad all to myself and that ended the moment my dad wanted to marry another woman which he eventually married he didn’t actually split away from me totally but I just wanted to have him all to myself that’s selfish right my father remarried eight years later I wasn’t happy about it but I think his freedom and happiness matters too because he nearly ran mad my grandmother will always say while teasing him to how much his grown to love and care for everyone one of us which is why I didn’t feel like mrs. Megan wasn’t my mom . Anyways my dad got married to this very nice woman. Who is my stepmom today yeah I know what you’re thinking that I’m evil for killing my own mom. I think so sometimes but my dad and my stepmom doesn’t think so which is why I have vall to make them both proud. But sadly, my dad died last year. In a car crash.My stepmom has been the only one Cathering for both me and his son. I must comment. She is the best woman I’ve ever met in my entire life. She’s so strong so kind. She thinks every child needs care and love and that makes her the best woman ever. anyways, that’s aside. A lot of years has passed it’s been eight since my dad got married to his wife which is my stepmom today. I know you must be thinking a lot of death has been happening in my family right which is disheartening yeah, I guess you’re correct on that because my grandma just died last month which is my birth mom’s mom. OK OK enough about me. Let’s talk about this family. My mum works for .. this family is one of the richest family in Daham city they have a very little mean family except from mr.Thompson. my mom sometimes stay at work for two days when my dad is still alive but since my dad died she had to talk to her bosslady Mrs. Thompson so that she could stay in one of the houses for workers, she doesn’t stay in those houses because of marriage when she married my father, she has to move her from the house because she actually stayed there before with her son, but after marrying my father because my father works for the family as a driver I think that’s where they met I don’t know. I’m just saying because LOVE can do a lot of things. OK, let’s say, my brother yeah I can. I won’t be calling him my stepbrother again I will have to say my brother just hope you understand so because of my stepmom‘s relationship with the family, she was given a different apartment in the house, two rooms and a sitting room and furnitures and a lot of things, but this comes with a lot of prices. If it were to be only Mr. Thompson, he would give us this good things I guess so because he’s nice to me and my brother from the way he treats us although we don’t get to see him every time but whenever he’s around and you get to meet him, He’s such a nice man. He talks politely. He pays me and my brothers school fees to did I say that? I guess I didn’t. Yeah pays . He makes sure that we are well fed since my dad died. This man is rich when I say he’s he’s very rich. but he doesn’t rule with pride you know when they say someone doesn’t rule with pride, yeah . OK let’s talk about his wife who is so mean so wicked she makes my mom work so hard she makes my mom cook a lot of food that she does not eat just to make sure my mom is working she makes my mom make a lot of cakes different types different flavors. Everything just to make sure that my mum is working without getting rest and the boss goes to work and he comes back very late in the night my mom will have to wait till my boss comes back to give him food. My mom’s boss has said it before that my mom doesn’t have to always wait for him one time my mom told her if she can call the Boss and ask him if he will eat when he comes back and she slaps my mom so hard one could her the sound from far away in front of the visitors. Asking her if she will be the one to tell her what to do in her own house and worst part of Everything is that am the one that feels humiliated because my stepmom doesn’t think she’s wrong. She thinks she herself is one that is wrong for asking the wrong question at this wrong time. She always says whatsoever you work for is always right they pay you for you to work so whatever they do they have paid for it already I will be so mad at those words, but I don’t know what to say. I’m just hoping that when I grow up and I mean when I grow older, I will get a nice job and make her leave this evil place for her evil owner and her family that doesn’t know how to treat people nice . The woman has a child as old as me the child is 16 years as well I guess I don’t know she looks the same age as me. She’s at school I mean, yes, you heard me right she went to school and I didn’t . I didn’t go to school today because the money that was supposed to pay for my tuition fee wasn’t paid anymore. My mom boss pays it for me and my brother but the wife always goes to the school to withdraw the payment each time he does that so I guess he doesn’t know what we’re going through so my mom has to work extra hours most of the times just to know if she will release her full salary that’s what was happening I mean things was getting worse. She started making sure that I don’t get any rest because she said we stay Free house at her husband’s apartment. This People are so rich so I don’t know what she’s doing with the little money she takes from my mom . She steals about half from her salary each month making sure that the money is never enough for us. Her daughter is not exceptional. Whenever her daughter is around. She’s suffocate me. She makes me walk so much. She makes me clean her room do her laundry with my hands instead of the washing machine, she makes me fine and polish her nails forcing me to make them extremely clean and nice just like professionals even though I don’t know how to do this things she forced me to do them. I don’t have any other option than to learn how to do them well talking about her son he is so nonchalant. He doesn’t talk to anyone. He doesn’t respect anyone. He deals with his mom and I guess she deserves whatever he does to her . He is so so disrespectful he doesn’t care about anybody. I don’t even think he talks to his sister and his sister is so disrespectful too the beds of the same feathers flocks together I hate everyone of them poverty seems not to understand that. poverty does not understand my pride that’s funny, right yeah .my stepbrother is friends with my mom boss son . My stepbrother is the worst, his friends with someone that treats us like a slave I mean, I see him like a goat. I guess that’s why they still have problem but I don’t think this is him not having a problem. I think this is him being stupid because why are you friends with the person that his family treats your mom and sibling bad .
