"A very dark, dramatic romance that at times made for hard reading, despite its great writing. I did indeed have an almost 180° change of opinion on Rafe; I don’t know if I liked him, I just didn’t dislike him 🫣 Other “billionaire” books I’ve read have generally been Eastern/Western Europe or America so it was interesting to add in a very different culture to the mix, it kept my mind thinking and I bloody loved it. As always the author/reader interaction was impressive and greatly appreciated 🥰"

"I wasn't sure where this story was going and Rafael's behavior made me want to quit reading this story at leat three times. But the drama kept me reading. I'm so glad I didn't read this book until it was finished. The cliffhangers at the end of each chapter would have drove me nuts. The emotions were raw and honest. Loved it. Poor Ethan. 😂 "

"I don’t see Rafael as a bad person. Apart from the fact that he cheated on her, he actually seemed kind to me, and I believe he is genuinely trying to change himself. I love this version of the story it has a perfect, happy ending. I especially loved how he fell for her and tried to protect her from everyone else. For me, Rafael is the hero."
