ARADHANA: RISHI'S AAKHARI BREATH

All Rights Reserved ©

Summary

The night her parents died didn't end with screams. It ended with silence - thick, choking silence. Aradhna was supposed to disappear with them. That was the plan. One decision. One bullet. No loose ends. But Rishi paused. Not because of mercy. Not because of regret. Because when he saw her standing there - shaking, silent, breathing - something inside him shifted. And once it did, it refused to move back. Rishi doesn't fall in love. He doesn't soften. He doesn't save. He takes what survives him. Aradhna wakes up every day in a house built by her parents' blood. She eats at the same table as the man who destroyed her childhood. She sleeps beside the truth she is never allowed to forget. Their marriage isn't loud. It's quiet. Heavy. Filled with unsaid words and doors that never quite close. She knows who he is. She knows what he did. And still - hatred refuses to stay pure. Because obsession doesn't arrive like a storm. It arrives slowly. Like shelter you never asked for... but learn to survive inside. Rishi watches her the way dangerous men do - not with affection, but with possession so deep it scares even him. He would tear down empires for her. Not to be forgiven. Not to be loved. Only so she never leaves. And if one day loving Aradhna finally destroys him - then Rishi will accept it. Because some men don't die for love. They end in it.

Chapter 1:"The morning,He decided"

It was exactly 9:00 in the morning.

And throughout the villa,

only one name echoed today—

“ARADHANA…!”

Then—

“ARADHANA!”

" Ji...aayi..!"

(“Yes… I’m coming…!”)

Rushing out of the kitchen,

wiping her hands with a towel,

Aradhana climbed the stairs and entered the room.

There was a slight nervousness in her voice,

a hint of hurry—

"Kiya hua , ji ? Aapne bulaya" .

(“What happened, ji…?

You called…?”)

Inside the room,

in front of the mirror,

Rishi was standing.

A tie in his hands,

face expressionless,

as if time didn’t stop for him—

Hearing her voice,

he turned.

Handing the tie toward her,

he said only—

Hame der ho rahi he !.

(“I’m running late.”)

Aradhana said nothing.

She took the tie from his hands.

Her eyes were down—

only on the tie.

She slowly wrapped the tie around his neck.

Her eyes stayed there.

Just there.

Suddenly, Rishi

held her waist

and pressed her against his chest,

gripping firmly.

He was looking into her eyes—

exactly as if

he wasn’t watching the tie…

but watching her tie it.

Aradhana finished the tie.

Separating her hands, she said softly—

"Hogya ."

(“Done.”)

Nahi.

(“No.")

"Ye thikse nhi bandhi he , fir se bandho"

(It’s not tied properly.

Do it again.”)

Rishi said,

stroking her hair with his fingers.

Once again,

Aradhana adjusted the tie.

Then she stepped back—

Hogaya......

(“Done.”)

"Nahi , abhi nahi"

(“Not yet.”)

Rishi pointed toward the coat.

Aradhana helped him wear it.

Then told him to come

downstairs for breakfast.

And without looking back,

she left the room.

Behind her,

in the mirror,

Rishi’s gaze

still lingered

exactly where

Aradhana had been standing.

And Aradhana didn’t know—

that this morning

was not an ordinary morning.

And Rishi’s silence

was the beginning

of a certain decision.

“This morning wasn’t ordinary —

because today, Rishi decided something irreversible

🖤 Author’s Note 💌

Dear Readers 🤍,

This first episode is not the full story —

it’s just a glimpse.

A breath…

after which the story will slowly become deeper.

In the coming episodes,

this world will unfold even more —

relationships, silences, conflicts,

and the intensity

that you only felt now…

but hasn’t been fully revealed yet.

If in this first episode

you felt something was left unsaid —

know that this is exactly the beginning of the story.

In this journey ahead,

there will be more scenes —

more intense,

more emotional,

and perhaps slightly uncomfortable too.

Because not every story

is meant to comfort —

some stories

are meant to reach deep inside.

If you want to see where this journey goes,

wait for the next episode.

Make sure to read the Character Analysis below —

so when the next episode comes,

you can not only read…

but feel the story.

Your coming this far

means a lot to me.

If this teaser

stayed with you somewhere in your heart —

then maybe

this story will also make you pause.

With love,

Author 🤍

Rishi is not loud.

He doesn’t need to be.

Born with Indian bloodlines,

but shaped by France’s underworld,

he carries two worlds inside him —

one rooted in legacy,

the other forged in blood.

His hair is Indian — dark, sharp, disciplined.

But his eyes are not.

They carry the cold patience of a European mafia boss —

calculating, unreadable, lethal.

A man who doesn’t react fast,

because he already knows the outcome.

Rishi doesn’t kill out of anger.

He kills with clarity.

Every move is planned, every step intentional.

When he came to India,

it wasn’t for chaos —

it was to finish unfinished bloodwork

and stabilize his authority.

Power, for him, is silent.

Control is instinctive.

In relationships,

he doesn’t love softly.

He claims.

Protects.

Consumes.

Obsession, for Rishi,

is not weakness —

it is loyalty taken to its darkest extreme.

His presence fills a room

even when he says nothing.

His touch is possessive,

his silence heavier than words.

He doesn’t ask for permission —

he decides.

Aradhana is the only variable

he never calculated.

She was meant to die.

Instead, she became his last restraint.

For the world,

Rishi is a monster in a tailored suit.

For Aradhana,

he is both the cage

and the shield.

And if loving her means losing everything —

Rishi will still choose her.

Even if it costs him

his empire…

or his last breath.

Aradhana speaks less,

because life has already said too much to her.

Loss sits inside her quietly —

not like a wound,

but like a memory that never sleeps.

Her parents’ death didn’t shatter her,

it hardened her silence.

She has learned how to breathe

without showing what hurts.

Her strength shows in restraint —

in how she listens,

in how she doesn’t react

even when everything inside her is screaming.

She lives with a truth she never chose —

under the same roof

as the man who destroyed her past.

She knows what he is.

She knows what he did.

Hatred would have been easier.

But her heart refuses to obey logic.

She exists between fear and familiarity,

between resistance and dependence.

Not because she is weak —

but because survival demanded patience.

Aradhana doesn’t chase love.

She questions it.

Fights it.

Endures it.

She doesn’t challenge Rishi openly.

Her power lies in stillness —

in being the one thing he cannot fully own.

In his violent world,

she is not softness —

she is limit.

And that quiet limit

is what unsettles him the most.
