Leah was a small town girl, she never knew what or whom would come her way, she was to busy being your average girl at college.

She never thought for a moment that he would come her way at all.

Leah was never expecting that intense feeling, but more so she never expected where their journey would take them.

Leah was a 16 year old girl who had long brown curly hair with piercing blue eyes -yes, she had looks of innocence all round her, the good girl image struck out to many.

Leah had just started college in performing arts, she loved every ounce of this ever so much that this she barely got time to think about anything else.

Leah had danced all of her life being in a dance school and acting classes with musical theatre it was part of her and she just wanted to be a part of it all, embrace the highs and the low of it, simply everything that came with the arts not knowing who would be round the corner with complete different energy and aura altogether.

One morning Leah was getting ready in her room for college, it was early in the moring that the sun was just starting to shine threw the shutters.

Leah started making her way down stairs, putting her grey coat on and her college grey bag on her back ready to go.

Then she went outside her front door to find a boy outside of her neighbours house who she had not seen before smoking a cigarette.

He was there looking up at the early morning sun, with a dark blue hoodie over him and a pair of jeans.

He had short dark brown hair, with piercing blue eyes like hers, she leaned forward hoping to get a better look of this boy she did not know of.

Leah was a bit taken back by this boy, she did not understand why, boys were not on her radar at all.

He then turned around with a cigarette to see Leah staring at him, he looked her wit intenese eye contact.

Leah felt a feeling she never felt before it felt like he was looking into her soul.

“Hi you."

He glanced at her and decided to introduce himself.

"Hi, I’m Liam”

Leah was taken back by his confidence, he was not from here as she heard his Welsh accent very clear.

Leah took a moment and wondered to herself did her close boy mates next door mention who she was! who was this mysterious boy she had never met before!

Leah replied

“Hi I’m Leah.”

her voice trembled with nerves.

Liam smiled cheekily.

This caught Leah off guard, she felt as though he could see right through her.

“I know who you are nice to meet you Leah”

As they both smiled at each other there was a feeling in that moment neither of them would know what journey would be waiting for them and how things would get so complicated.

Soon after Leah's mum Clara, came out to take Leah to college, at the same time leah's neighbour came out called Ashley he had Ginger auburn hair and was dressed also in jeans and a jacket.

Hi Leah this is Liam my friend he is staying here with us.”

Leah mum Clara was very close with the next door neighbours also she had been like a second mum to them and she looked at Liam and greeted him.

“Nice to meet you Liam, now come on Leah we must get going for college”.

As Leah’s mum Clara made her way to her red car.

Liam finished his cigarette and said looking straight at Leah.

“Have a good day at college.”

Leah replied with a simple

“Thank you.”

They both made their own ways to where they were heading that day, but in their thoughts they would be thinking so much more about this first encounter.

Who is this person?

What are they about ?

Left wondering and living their own life at the same time.
