Haunted by the Door

"This sci-fi novel's world-building is incredible! The setting is so bleak and dark, and I was completely sucked into its dystopian world🛸 At first, I thought this was going to be a slightly spicy "girl meets boy" story, but the plot twists completely caught me off guard. The romance turned out to be more than just a little spicy. It was downright bitter. The ending left me with a sense of unease, a feeling that lingers long after I've finished reading. The motif of the "door" really intrigued me. It made me wonder about its metaphorical significance, particularly in the final scene. Was the door a symbol of the protagonist's fragile hope? I'm left thinking that the door didn't lead to a new world or an ending, but instead was just a cruel reminder of what could have been."
