The Beauty We Can’t See
You know ... butterflies can't see
the beauty of their wings
They just fly freely
and stop to the beauty of nature
The brilliance of their wings, the glow
the beauty is hidden from them
But... we as humans can see the beauty
The power it holds
How the earth will be incomplete without them
How beauty itself is not a word without them
Likewise we humans can't see the beauty within us
We might think we are not good enough
But why do people still look up to us?
How can the earth be complete without us?
How special, how wonderful, we truly are
and it still goes unnoticed (by us)
That others around us,they see it all
The light in our eyes,the courage to stand tall
They witness the beauty we often ignore,
The gift we have,the things we adore
So let us remember,on the days we feel small,
The beauty within us is seen by all,
Like the butterfly, though it can't see it beauty
It's beauty is felt, as it flutters free
The beauty we can't always see,
Is the same beauty that makes us,us
Yes you and me, that who we truly are
Because that's beauty in it's purest form
