“The girl with Kenneth,” I whispered to Nathan

I sat at the corner of the room with liquor in my left hand and a blunt between my right middle and index finger. I watched the way she swayed her hips towards the music. How she wraps her arms around Kenneth’s neck and moved up and down. Damn! I could use a good lay right now. I don’t need a connection with her, I just need to get laid with that body.

“Kaylee? You want to get laid with Kenneth’s mate?” He yelled a bit loud since the music was on blast

“So! I can fuck whoever I want. Now go get her.” I snapped

He drank the liquor in his red cup and threw it on the floor. He went over there and whispered something in Kenneth’s ear to make him go away.

Kenneth’s a good guy. Captain of the football team and the beta’s son, but when you have a mate like that. Hell no I’m backing down. I need that tonight.

Kenneth went away and Nathan said some stuff. She said some stuff and he said some stuff. It got irritating watching them talk, but some other girl came and got involve. Nathan pointed towards me and she snapped. She started walking towards me all confident and raging with power. Kaylee and Nathan followed behind her. Shit!

“Listen here Shit Face! That girl you want to get ‘laid’ with. That girl has a mate and if you come near her or even 20 feet from her, I won’t fucken hesitate to break your limbs!” She almost punched me, but Kaylee held her back

I stood up to show some power. She was tall, but I was taller. I looked down at her. Her eyes changed, but not with fear nor was her heart beating fast. She’s calm, her eyes turned wide and anger filled her chest.

“Who do you think you are?“I asked calmly and gave her a serious face

“Some girl who wants to beat the shit out of your face for thinking you could take that type advantage of my best friend.”

What a fierce bitch. I like it.

“Why won’t you try honey?” I responded back to her

“Even if I punched you where the sun doesn’t shine. You’ll wish you didn’t ask in the first place.”

Now that got me mad. I drank the liquor in my cup and crumbled it with one stroke. Anger and mischief fill the top of my chest. A shade of darkness filled my eyes. The wolf in me growled.

“Mira lets go!” Kaylee said and some other girls who came pulled her away

She tried to get out of their grip as they walked away from me.

“Dude, here.” Nathan handed me a cup of liquor and a blunt.

I took it and just sat back down. I watched Kaylee and her friend the whole night. I never met a female so tough and full of courage. She’s definitely not the type who cares about what people thought of her.

She drank and danced and swayed her big ass side to side. She seemed to forget everything because now she’s laughing and grinding on some guy. I felt a little mad, but I let it go since I don’t even know her.

I had my right hand wrapped around Kaylee’s neck and Kenneth wrapped the arms around her neck. We walked home from the party with everyone else while laughing and giggling. Everyone is tipsy and dorm people were even tripping or falling.

“Hey, girl!” I heard someone call, but I don’t think it’s for me.

So I kept walking and turn on the right corner.

“Mirabella!” This time, I turned around and looked who called me.

It was him. The same guy who insulted my best friend. I scolded and continued to walk away.

“I know you saw me, Princess.” I didn’t have to listen to him

I kept walking away. He ran up to me and turned me around, but I came back with punching him in the face. Everyone saw and heard the crack of his jaw, but he just cracked it back to its right place.

“Don’t ever touch me!” I spit at him

Next thing I know he threw on his shoulders. I started punching his back and I started to yell too. Everyone watched while he walked the opposite direction.

“Let go of me!” I punched harder

“That makes me want to hold on to you tighter.” I knew he smirked, but he did tighten his grip around me. It’s so tight it started to feel numb.

“Ow! Can you loosen your grip on me? It’s starting to hurt.”

“No can do Princess.”

“What do you even want from me?”

“Nothing really, but I like the way you move.”

I turned my head thinking this boy is stupid and sexist.

“Are you going to rape me!?”

“No! I’m talking about yourself. How you handle things. You know what, just shut up. Where almost there anyways.”

“Almost where?” I asked

“Romania.”

Romania. Did I hear right? It’s a small pack, but also very strong. Ranking the one of the top three strongest pack. Meanwhile, my pack ranked number 4 in top 5. It’s not all about the rank, but their ability to fight is something you’ve never seen before.

Their structure is like an army base. They train so professional and so clean. They follow orders and doesn’t seem to do it twice. Just hearing the name gave me the chills, but I shouldn’t be. Even if I’m not the alpha, I still have the blood flowing through my vanes.

As we entered the forest and went deep into the woods. The force field of their border hit me. Making me knock into a long and hurtful sleep.
