Summary

When he was fifteen, Camden Cooper believed that love was an invincible fortress. He thought that if he stayed, fought, and promised never to leave, he could protect Imogen from the world. Then, the world fought back. The night after she gave birth to their twin daughters, the love of his life vanished without a trace. Camden was left standing in a hospital corridor with two crying infants and a shattered heart. He was forced into a role he wasn't ready for. The girl he would have died for was gone, leaving behind a deafening silence and an unbearable weight. As the reality of being a single father sets in, the "Madhouse" becomes a pressure cooker of grief and exhaustion. Caught in a downward spiral of overwhelming sadness and desperation, Camden finds himself teetering on a razor's edge. When devastating incidents threaten the safety of his daughters, he must face a terrifying truth: his grief might cost him the children he promised to protect. Will Camden find the strength to stand up for Willow and River, or will losing the only girl he ever wanted be the final blow that breaks him?

Authors note

When I wrote The Cooper Brothers: Camden—Find Me, I never intended to write a second book. But once I finished the last chapter, I started to wonder. What happened to Camden to make him the man he is today?

So, I wrote this book.

I should mention that I am neither a lawyer nor a trauma surgeon. I did my research as well as possible, but there might be flaws because neither profession is mine. I am aware that Camden’s outcome might not have been so positive given the laws in California ( though possible), but I didn’t want the worst for my sweet character (and I am sure neither do you- after all it’s a fictional story to entertain), so I made it easier on him.

This book is pure fiction. There are no intentional relations to the living or the dead. To my knowledge, none of these events happened except in my imagination while writing. When I started, I had no idea where this story would lead. My stories evolve as I write them.

The second I finished part two, I wondered how: and now? This can’t be it!

So, I began writing book three.

I hope you enjoy the story, and please don’t hold me accountable for any mistakes if you’re a professional in either field.

It’s just meant to bring a little love, a little drama and maybe a tear or two into your reading time.

Thank you for all the incredible support and I hope Book Two will be just as loved by all you amazing readers as Book One !
