How do you imagine a goddess of love would be when she is truly in love? Hasn’t she seen it all already? Can a Goddess like her even fall in love?

I have heard those questions spoken to my face, or behind my back, sometimes just a mere whisper in their thoughts. I may be the Goddess of Love, yet know I Love truly? Everyone only sees the beauty on the surface, by the Hades even I have been superficial and shallow more times than I can count, have played with the emotions and hearts of all those foolish enough to lust after me and called it love.

Wasn’t it more than mere desires? What do I truly know of Love? Will I ever know true love that isn’t mere lust but true by the heart? I wish I could know so. Now that I think about it, the gods don’t understand the concept of love at all. Look at Zeus and his escapades. His Lust is greater than the others but there is no love there. Hera and her parades about marriage and loyalty to their spouses yet she doesn’t understand love either.

By Tartarus even I understand nothing about Love and I am the one they proclaimed the Goddess of Love.
