As the golden sun dips below the horizon and the muted blues and purples of twilight turn into the inky shades of night, two brave travelers find themselves entering a graveyard, shrouded by absolute darkness. What awaits them in this mysterious, silent place? Will they make it through the night?
Chapter One: The Cemetery Gate
The two travelers stood in front of the large wrought-iron gate. What awaited them beyond? In the silent night, the silence was almost oppressive. The only sound was their own breathing and the distant hooting of an owl in a nearby tree.
The gate was firmly shut, but one of the travelers spotted something glinting in the lock. A rusty key. With a little effort, it opened the gate, and the two ventured inside.
