Preface; The Locked Drawer
😈 Sir’s POV 😈
“Good morning, sir, here’s your coffee.”
“Thank you, Elsie. How does my day look today?”
“I have you scheduled for ten interviews today, for the opening in administration with a thirty-minute lunch break at noon.”
“When is my first interview?”
“You have about an hour before they get here, sir.”
“Ok, thank you Elsie, I have some quick things I need to take care of at my desk, let me know when they arrive.”
“Yes, sir.”
As soon as the door closes, the sounds of typing, phones, and papers fade. My pulse steadies as I take a deep breath, but a small thrill lingers at what’s waiting for me. I move to my desk, log in, and open the locked drawer with the flip-out screen tucked low, hidden from view.
She’s sitting at attention, facing the camera with her palms on her knees as she waits. I pick up the receiver and dial, listening for the soft click that tells me she’s ready.
