A New Adventure Begins
The bright morning sun shone through the window as two unlikely friends awoke in their beds. The human was a young man called Theo, who had a mischievous look about him. The troll was an old and wise creature, grumbly and sarcastic, but far more experienced than his young companion.
Theo and the troll had been friends ever since they met in a tavern years ago. Although they didn’t understand one another very well, they shared a common bond of adventure and exploration.
Today was no different. For the two adventurers had planned a journey that morning, to uncover a mystery that lay far beyond the horizon.
Theo jumped out of bed with excitement and quickly changed into his traveling clothes. He turned to eagerly greet his friend, only to find the troll fast asleep. Theo sighed and shook his head. The troll would never be as eager for adventure as he was, but as always, he would find a way to get them both ready for the journey ahead.
Theo sighed and gently shook the troll awake.
