Rain on the summer morning
There in the cracked walls, wall clocks and mosaic,
I have heard your calls, haunting and tragic.
Where the wind howled, I have derived its pleasure,
I have kept your crystal tears like a precious treasure.
Broken panels and shattered glass, I’ve seen silhouettes,
Your words breaking me in pain, I’m living in your debts.
Rose vines carved inside, I have been screaming for peace,
On that summer morning, I know I’ve found my other piece.
Ghostly shadows and haunted screams, the cracked walls fell,
The wall clocks turned to twelve as I frantically yell.
The mosaic floor spattered with blood made me feel hollow,
You were standing under the sun, signaling me to follow.
I ran outside the house and into your strong arm,
But I fell flat on the ground as you were just a charm.
Still I yell, louder than the wind, louder than the lions who roar,
With my rage I charged like a cursed wild boar.
The sun shone innocently outside my yard,
I was left all alone, abandoned and scarred.
The wind roared louder this time, making leaves fly,
The bright morning turned dark as the sky began to cry.
Water splashed on mosaic floors, outside the cracked wall,
In the flash of the lightning, I saw a lone figure crawl.
It moved closer and closer like it was a warning,
