Lost in the Abyss
Your eyes flutter open, and you find yourself in a cold and desolate room. The air is heavy with the scent of dampness and decay. As you lift your head off the cold floor, a sharp pain shoots through your temples, reminding you of the throbbing headache that has become your constant companion.
You glance around, taking in your surroundings. The room is small, barely large enough to contain the single metal table and chair that occupy its center. The walls are made of gray concrete, the only source of light beaming weakly from a single flickering bulb hanging from the ceiling.
Your mind is an empty void, no trace of who you are or how you ended up here. Panic begins to rise inside you, but you force yourself to remain calm. Some distant part of you knows that regaining your memories is crucial to your survival.
Suddenly, your attention is drawn to a scrap of paper lying on the table. Hastily scrawled upon it is a cryptic message: ‘In darkness, the truth awaits. Seek the three keys to unlock your memories.’
