Journey to the truth
It was another day in Fairy Tail, and Natsu was sitting at the guild hall’s bar, drinking his usual cup of literal fire, when all of a sudden, he spotted a boy in the guild with goat legs? He’s never seen that kind of magic before. I mean, he’s seen transformation magic, what with Lisanna and Nab, and happy was a literal flying cat, but permanent animal traits on a human? That was definitely new to him.
The goat-legged boy noticed Natsu staring, and decided to approach him. “Hey there! You must be Natsu?” He asked, to which the pink-haired boy nodded. “Yep! That’s me! What can I do for ya?”
“Okay, well, this is going to be a lot to explain, but... you’reademi-godandthesonofaresandweneed—” “okay— what?” Natsu interrupted, tilting his head. He didn’t understand a single word of that.
The goat boy sighed. “Right, I forgot the mist doesn’t exactly work the same here.” “What’s ‘the mist?’—” “ANYways... my name is Grover, and we need to go. Now.”
“Huh? Why?—” Natsu didn’t have any time to finish speaking as Grover had already grabbed his wrist and was dragging him out of the guild hall, much to the confused stares of his fellow guildmates. Just before the doors closed behind him, Natsu looked around, searching for his team to ask for help, but then remembered that they were on a mission.
So, with a sigh, he let Grover drag him.

As they reached the train station, Natsu stopped in his tracks. “I don’t wanna take the train, damnit!” He whined. His stomach churned, he could already feel his motion sickness kicking in.
Grover sighed. “Yeah, well too bad! We have to head down to Hargeon and take a boat, so suck it up.”
Natsu froze, his skin turning pale, effectively making it easier for Grover to drag the dragon-slayer onto the train.
As soon as they got on the train and sat down, Natsu leaned against the wall, bracing himself for the incoming motion sickness. However, as soon as the train started moving, and he didn’t feel any different, Natsu sat up straighter, staring at Grover in confusion.
Grover simply nodded. “Ah, it seems your awakening has cancelled out the motion sickness.” He said, as if it explained everything “but, since you haven’t been claimed by a god yet, we won’t know exactly whose genes is cancelling it out until it happens.” Natsu only grew more confused.
“Huh?”
Grover sighed. “Well, to put it simply... you’re a Demi-god, and because of that, you’re in danger being out in the open because monsters are attracted to you.” he stated calmly.
Natsu could only stare at Grover in shock and confusion. “WHAT?!”
