Sky-Burial Elixir Unleashed: Wang Hao’s Duel With Li Yunyang
“You three bears still run your foul mouths as always.” Guan Yingjie’s eyes snapped open, and a terrifying aura swept across the world, churning the clouds in the sky into a violent storm.
Hiss—
The three Xiong brothers gasped. Guan Yingjie was indeed monstrous. Though they shared the same Martial Emperor cultivation, the gap between them was staggering.Even if the three of them fought together, they would only be brutally defeated.
“Guan Yingjie, you coward!” Xiong Da shouted. “If our boss were here, you wouldn’t dare act so arrogant!”
“Exactly!” Xiong Er huffed. “You hid when our boss was around. Now that he’s gone, you crawl out at once. Pathetic!”
Xiong San sneered. “You’ve got it wrong, brother. He waited seven whole years before showing his face. He was scared our boss would come back and slap that pride right off you again.”
“Oh!” Xiong Er exclaimed in mock understanding. “No wonder we haven’t heard your name in years!”
“The most scheming man under heaven! Truly admirable!” the three brothers declared in unison, bowing to Guan Yingjie with exaggerated respect.
Pfft—
The crowd below burst out laughing at their antics.
Guan Yingjie’s expression remained cold. He uttered a single, icy word: “Begone.”
Xiong Da: “Hell no!”Xiong Er: “Screw you!”Xiong San: “Suck my—”
Xiong Da and Xiong Er stared at him in disgust. “You’d actually touch that scheming bastard? You beast!”
Ha ha—
Wang Hao couldn’t help but laugh. How had these three clowns reached Martial Emperor? And from their words, their boss was clearly his father. Yet why had he never heard of them in his memories?
“Boss, Jin Wei is here!” Qian Wanyang tugged Wang Hao’s arm, pointing at seven or eight ships speeding toward them from afar.
Wang Hao spoke calmly: “Ling Ling, stand by to take the Black Dragon Vessel and escape at any moment. Chen Yao, seize the Space Gem the second you can and install it on the ship immediately. Qian Wanyang, you loot their gear afterward—time is short, take only the expensive stuff. Leave the trash.”
“Yes!!”
Ling Ling, Qian Wanyang, and Chen Yao nodded solemnly and split up to carry out their orders.
Le Xuan and Xia Weiwei exchanged a glance and obediently boarded the ship. They had been with Wang Hao too long; they were already marked as his accomplices. Staying behind meant capture.
Xue Qianqin’s heart raced with panic. Her master had not yet arrived. If Wang Hao escaped with the Space Gem, she would never get it back. Wang Hao had powerful backers of his own—even her master would not dare provoke him openly.
Wang Hao nodded, tucked the rabbit from his shoulder into his chest, then pushed off the ground with explosive force and charged toward the crowd.
“Huh? Wang Hao? What’s he doing here?” Li Yunyang frowned, turning his head—only to finally spot Le Xuan, the goddess he had longed for day and night.
“Who’s that kid? He looks just like our boss!” Xiong Da exclaimed in surprise.
“Could he be the boss’s underling?” Xiong Er wondered aloud.
“You two idiots!” Xiong San snapped. “Didn’t you hear him called Wang Hao? He’s obviously the boss’s son.”
Xiong Da and Xiong Er’s eyes lit up. “That makes sense!!”
Before they could finish speaking, Wang Hao hurled a vial of elixir to the ground. The moment the liquid inside touched the air, it vaporized and spread throughout the zone.
Ugh—
Everyone in the area clamped their hands to their necks, their faces flushing purple before collapsing limply to the ground.
“W-What’s happening? My body’s gone completely limp!” Xiong Da’s head spun, and he plummeted from the sky.
Xiong Er glared at him. “I told you to stop messing around last night, but you wouldn’t listen—ah! Why am I dizzy too? I only did it three times last night, this can’t be!”
Xiong San grinned smugly. “You two are just old. The Xiong family’s future rests on m—urk… why can’t I move?!”
Three thunderous crashes echoed as the three Xiong brothers slammed into the ground, carving three huge craters.
At the same time, Guan Yingjie’s limbs went weak. He could no longer stay aloft and slowly descended.
“Master! Are you alright?!” Li Yunyang rushed to support him.
“This is the Sky-Burial Elixir… but a weakened version,” Guan Yingjie panted. “Yunyang, you cultivated the Heavenly Dragon Ascension Art—you are immune to such poisons. Hurry. Take the Space Gem.”
Li Yunyang glanced back at Wang Hao, then nodded firmly. “Master, rest assured. I will not let Wang Hao win.”
With that, he charged straight for Wang Hao.
Ding! Congratulations, Host, on successful poisoning. Earned 27,000,000 Villain Points.
A smirk tugged at Wang Hao’s lips. Poisoning four Martial Emperors at once had yielded a fortune. What surprised him, though, was that Li Yunyang had not been affected at all.
“Wang Hao! Let us settle this once and for all!”
Li Yunyang drew the greatsword on his back. A flash of cold light sliced through the world, sending a chill down every spine.
“Sharpglow—one of the ten Level 6 alloy weapons of the Interstellar Federation!!”
Wang Hao stared at the greatsword in Li Yunyang’s hand, his heart aching with greed. He had to have it.
“The nobles are my enemies, and you are their lapdog. Fate has decided we cannot coexist.” Wang Hao drew his own greatsword and stood facing Li Yunyang.
Li Yunyang scoffed. “Wang Hao, the nobles’ roots run deep across the Federation. Challenging them is nothing but a fool’s dream.”
“A lapdog to the end. Enough talk. Draw your sword.” Wang Hao dismissed him with contempt.
Qian Wanyang and Chen Yao shot Wang Hao a glance before returning to their tasks. After witnessing Wang Hao’s monstrous talent, they did not believe anyone of the same age could stand against him.
“Fierce Dragon Slash!!”
Li Yunyang roared. A savage, overwhelming aura erupted from Sharpglow, tearing through the void. The cold, piercing power made everyone shudder.
Impossible!
Wang Hao’s pupils constricted. The last time he had seen Li Yunyang, the boy had been weak as a chick. Now his power had surged dozens of times over—how?
There was no time to wonder. Wang Hao shifted his foot and burst forward like a wild stallion unleashed. His greatsword exploded into a storm of afterimages, charged with unyielding resolve, and clashed against the incoming strike.
First move: Cloud-Rending Sky Slash!!
Clang!
A deafening clash of steel rang out. An immense force rippled up both swords, sending both boys flying backward. They skidded several steps before regaining their balance.
No way!!
Qian Wanyang and Chen Yao froze, utterly stunned. Someone of the same age had just blocked Wang Hao’s strike—on equal footing.
