Author's Notes & Trigger Warnings
Hi there! Thank you so much for giving my story a chance. Before you get lost with Clara and Emil in their Blue, Oltremare, there are a few things I’d like to share to ensure a smooth reading experience.
🇮🇹A Note on Language: Please note that this story was originally written in Italian and has been translated into English. Although I speak and write fluently in English, it is not my native language. Therefore, some phrasing may not feel as fluid as that of a native speaker.
Thank you for your understanding.

The Language Game: The main character of the story, Clara, is Italian. Consequently, there are some ”Italianisms" here and there. They are very few, and they will be translated. These are intentional, used to bring the prose closer to the story’s atmosphere and the characters’ personalities.
Svenska:You will also notice some phrases in Swedish. Where necessary, translations are provided at the end of the chapter or within the text to avoid breaking the reading flow.

🌊 Blue Oltremare
In Italy, we call itOltremare— the blue that lies beyond the horizon. Historically, it was a pigment more precious than gold, a depth of color so intense it was said to represent the infinite.
For Clara, Oltremare is more than a color; it is the suffocating weight of the secrets she can’t remember, and the piercing gaze of the man she can’t resist. As Emil’s touch pulls her beneath the surface, the line between comfort and erotic obsession begins to blur. In the vast, deep blue of the Oltremare, you don’t just find yourself—you get lost. And some secrets are only revealed once you are completely stripped bare.

Now that we’ve covered everything (or almost—I hope I haven’t forgotten anything!), you can finally lose yourself in the pages. I’ll see you in the comments!
A fair warning regarding Emil: he’s addictive.
