prologue
Two men talked in a room that had exposed wires and pipes everywhere, some of the wires were loose others were connected to strange things. There were random metal parts both on and off the tables, chairs, and stands. Four of the stands had some endoskeletons all of the same model, just two of them were the same height while the other two were either taller or smaller than the first two. Suddenly the door was opened by another man causing the two men to stop talking and look at the man.
“Why did you two call for me? Did you make the endoskeletons to the daycare attendances, with the extras for it?” The man said to the two men. The men looked at each other and then at the man in front of them. One of them pointed to the endoskeletons on the stands making the man look at them.
“What the hell!? Why are only two of them the right height!? They are supposed to be 9.4 feet!” *He said annoyed now looking at the two men in front of him. The two men sighed as they started telling the man that there was a mistake in the making.
“This is bullshit, we can’t use these two endoskeletons, one is way too tall and the other is w- Nevermind I have an idea, we’ll use them for the holidays one will be for October and the other be for December, make them for both the holidays for that month, so we don’t get sued over it. The tall one is for December and the small one is for October” The man said with a smile looking at the endos, before looking at the men. The men nodded looking at the men both happy they wouldn’t get fired for their mistake.
“Good now get started on the main daycare attendants, they have a due date before their release to the public eye” *The man said before walking away and out of the room to wherever he needed to go.
The two men looked at each other and high-fived each other once the man left saying ‘yes’ as they did so. After that, they started on the main daycare attendants. While they were doing that one of them stopped and grabbed a journal and pen.
“Hey Joe I’m going to write down what the boss said about the other two endoskeletons, do you remember which one is meant for October and the other one for December?” The man tells his coworker now known as Joe.
“Umm I think he said the small one is for December and the tall ass one is for October” Joe replied to his coworker as he heats a piece of metal to connect to another metal piece.
“Right thanks, Joe” *The man replied writing down what he was told before he went back to working on the animatronics.
Days went by and soon it was time to release the daycare attendant. Joe was the one to move the daycare attendant to the daycare area using a utility dolly to help move them. Once in the middle of the daycare, he powered the animatronic on.
“Hello!” The sun-themed robot proudly announced once it powered on. Joe sighed as he looked at it. The sun animatronic looked back at him about to say something but was beaten to it.
“Hi, I’m Joe, and we’re in the daycare where you will be working as a daycare attendant, your name is Sun. When the lights are off your counterpart, who is named Moon comes out and they will put the kids to sleep. Questions? No. Good, I’ll be leaving now, you should get you and your daycare ready for kids” Joe tells Sun before walking out of the daycare with the utility dolly.
Sun, stood there for a moment before looking around the daycare. Sun giggled happily at the place that he would be working and living in. Soon they started to clean up the place. It was night and the Pizza Plex opened in the morning so they had a lot of time, maybe enough time for a good deep cleaning.
As they were cleaning the walls, the doors to the entrance opened by a group of animal-like animatronics. A bear walked in with a gray wolf, chicken, fox, bunny, or rabbit, and an alligator looking around the place.
“Aye, Captain this place is cleaner than the front of the mall” The fox pointed out to one of the others. Sun, looked at them happy to see other people, and ran to them with the cleaning supplies they were still using in hand.
“Hello, new friends! I’m Sun, what are your names?” Sun, happily talks to them. All of them looked at Sun startled by their sudden outburst.
“Hello their superstar, I’m Freddy the lead singer of the band and this is my crew, Foxy, Chica, Bonnie, Roxanne, and Montgomery,” The bear said who is now known as Freddy pointed to his crew introducing them to, Sun.
“Hello to you all and welcome to the daycare” Sun greeted them by shaking all their hands one by one, then stepping back so they could have some space.
“It’s a pleasure to meet you Sun, tho we were told that there are two of you,” Chica tells Sun confused.
“Oh there are two of us, it’s just that we share the same body, I’m around when the lights are on, and my counterpart Moon, is around when the lights are off” Sun explains to them with an awkward chuckle.
“Oh? That sounds complicated and troublesome” Freddy tells Sun looking a bit confused and concerned for Sun.
“Oh don’t worry, I bet it will be fine... Speaking of which why don’t y’all meet Moon?” Sun, tells them as he walks to the light switch.
“Sure let’s see the night crawler,” Monty said as he crossed his arms.
“Monty please don’t call Moon or anyone names, it’s rude and hurtful,” Sun tells Monty before turning off the lights.
The daycare music slowed down and became relaxing instead of its original upbeat tune, as Sun, slowly turned into, Moon. The warm color palette slowly turns into a cold color palette. As the rays tuck in, the chest cavity opens showing a blue nightcap with yellow stars. The cap is grabbed by a set of white and blue colored hands, the chest cavity closes as the cap is placed on Moon’s head. Moon, then looked at the group with a silent wave.
“Hello there, Moon. I am Freddy a-” Freddy started before Moon kindly interrupted him.
“Thank you Freddy, but I already heard your introduction, I can hear what Sun, hears,” Moon, tells Freddy, in a soothing and relaxing voice.
“Oh, well then that’s nice to know” Freddy replied before chuckling awkwardly. Moon nodded slowly as he slowly walked up to them.
“So you put the youngsters to sleep?” Chica asked trying to start up a conversation. Moon nodded once again as he spoke.
“Yes, I put the kids to sleep and help them calm down if they need it” Moon answered Chica.
For a bit the group talked to Moon before he turned the lights on for Sun to take control, letting the group see the transition between the two. Then the group talked to Sun for the remainder of the night before they had to leave.
Leaving Sun alone in the daycare as he waved them bye before slowly closing the giant doors. With a sigh Sun rays spin around on his head as he quickly finishes cleaning up the daycare. Once he put the cleaning supplies up he heard the sounds of children and parents walking to the daycare.
