DEJI WORLD
CHAPTER 1 – REGISTRATION ZONE
It was night.
Rain was falling slowly, as if trying to wash the city clean—
but some stains were too deep to fade.
Registration Zone was not a place people came to live.
They came here to disappear.
Half the streetlights were flickering.
Rainwater had gathered on the roads, reflecting the city upside down.
And in that reflection, everything looked… wrong.
You were standing there.
You didn’t remember your name.
You didn’t remember your past.
Only one thing was clear—
something went wrong tonight.
A body lay face-down in the water.
Its eyes were open, as if still watching something even after death.
Carved into its chest with a knife were the words:
“YOU ARE LATE.”
The police never came.
In this city, they never do.
People stood silently around.
No one cried.
No one looked shocked.
As if this was normal.
You kneel beside the corpse.
The blood is already cold.
And then you feel it—
you’ve seen this scene before.
As you stand up, a voice whispers near your ear:
“This isn’t the first body in this city.”
You turn around.
No one is there.
But in the water, your reflection is smiling.
“You don’t want to remember…
that’s why you forgot.”
You step back.
The reflection speaks again:
“But Deji World never forgets.”
You look around.
Old bloodstains mark the walls.
Inside closed shops, bodies hang chained in silence.
People avoid eye contact.
An old man mutters softly:
“You came looking for the truth?
Then the city will burn you alive.”
You ask, “Who’s doing this?”
He lets out a faint laugh.
“Ask who isn’t.”
And you understand—
this isn’t just murder.
It’s a system.
The screen slowly fades darker.
Two paths appear before you.
Hide the truth.
Make the body disappear.
Pay the gangs.
The city will stay peaceful—on the surface.
Or—
Expose the truth.
Question the people.
Make enemies of the gangs.
Blood will flow.
A line appears on the screen:
“Every choice writes someone else’s death.”
Whatever you choose,
Registration Zone will remember.
You walk into a dark alley.
The rain grows heavier.
Behind you, the voice speaks one last time:
“This is only the beginning.
You haven’t even killed yourself yet.”
The screen turns black.
Chapter Ending
“WELCOME TO DEJI WORLD.
HEROES AREN’T MADE HERE.
MEMORIES NEVER DIE.”
