Fun story, but gory.
"My friend Chris asked me to review his novel on Inkitt.com, so here I am! First off, as anyone who plays D and D with Chris will tell you, the guy can tell a freaking story! I felt compelled from the first page and finished the book in record time (which wasn't hard because it's kind of on the short side.) Sorry, Chris, but I have to be honest; YOU HAVE TO DO ANOTHER EDIT OF THIS BOOK. There are too many grammatical and spelling errors for someone of your intelligence so stop being lazy! If you can get past the need for an edit, which I was able to do, you'll find this story kicks all kinds of butt. But it's violent! Good gravy, is it violent! Not that there are buckets of blood or anything ridiculous, but in a way the more realistic depiction of eviscerations and such is worse. Are you SURE this is a YA novel, Chris? In spite of my quibbles, this is a fun read and I would recommend it to anyone who likes X men or the Marvel movies more than werewolf people, because Sylvie isn't really a werewolf at all but a mutant."
Slow burn story, but pays off.
"Now of the Wolf hits you like a sucker punch. The story starts off sort of slow, and you're thinking 'okay, where is the author going with this?' But very quickly you become hooked by the character of Sylvie. Too often female characters feel hyper masculine or overly feminine, with nothing in between. Sylvie is fierce but vulnerable, and her struggles to fit really resonated with me (I got picked on in high school too!) As the story picks up speed, there are more and more action scenes, with the brutality and stakes being ramped up every time. The conclusion left me a bit shaken (much like Infinity War) but I won't spoil the ending. Wagoner needs to do a spell check and go over his grammar, lol. Other than that, the story is practically flawless. There's never a cringe worthy moment or a time where you don't feel emotionally invested in the story of a super powered autistic girl out to save first her friends, and then the entire world (at least 99% of it.) Filled with mutants, government conspiracies, and brutal fight scenes, this book is also in reality a character study of a fascinating girl and her struggles to understand our human world. My only quibble is there's a bit too much salty language and sexual innuendo for a YA novel. This book would make a FANTASTIC movie or Netflix series! Can't wait for the sequel."

Unique werewolves
"Loved this story. I’ve read my share of werewolf stories on this website, but this is a unique one! The characters are so colorful and real. The scenes in the fourth chapter, the ones in which the wolves are feeding and hunting, are sensational and really well written from a descriptive point of view. From there on I was hooked on the story. Sure, there are some punctuation and grammar issues to sort out, but this is secondary. Overall the novel is simply a colorful and suspenseful piece of work and I recommend it for sure."
Needs editing
"I don't usually read this genre, but I became interested within the first few paragraphs. That's unusual for me. Your writing style has promise, and you have a cool way of creating twists and turns in the story to keep it interesting. However, don't let anyone tell you that grammar and punctuation are second to a good plot and story. I found it difficult to read because a lot of writing rules were violated. Having dialog that is not attributed makes it confusing. Having dialog from more than one person on the same line, or in the same paragraph is definitely confusing and violates writing protocol. The general rule is a new paragraph each time the speaker changes; and attribute the speaker often enough to make it clear who is speaking. There are numerous typos and punctuation errors throughout. These take away from the enjoyment of reading and reduce the understanding of what is happening. Also be aware of plagiarism, especially in chapter 11 regarding the sun and the stars."
