Chapter
The wine was making my cheeks warm, or maybe that was just the company. Six students, young men and women in their early twenties who actually gave a damn about Kandinsky and light theory, laughing around the dining table in this ridiculously spacious Berlin loft. I was still in my teacher armor—black turtleneck, high-waisted trousers, glasses perched just so. Professional. Untouchable. The sleeves were long, covering the tattoo that wrapped my left arm from shoulder to wrist. Always covered. Always hidden.
“Frau Brandt,” Lukas said, swirling his glass. His voice had that particular tone he used when he was about to say something clever. “Can we show you something? Artistic research.”
I smiled, reaching for my own glass. “Of course. Is it the Klimt sketches from the museum today?”
“Not exactly.” He stood up, moving to the large flatscreen mounted on the exposed brick wall. “It’s more... performance art. From a few years back.”
Something shifted in the air. Emma stopped mid-sip. Jonas leaned back, his phone already in his hand, thumb hovering. The four girls—Lena, Sophie, Hannah, sweet quiet Lena—turned to face me with expressions I couldn’t quite read. Expectant. Hungry, maybe. But soft.
“Lukas,” I laughed, nervous without knowing why. “What is this?”
He didn’t answer. He just connected his phone to the TV. The screen flickered from black to a dimly lit room I recognized with a sickening lurch of my stomach. Red velvet. Chandeliers. The sound of chains.
Oh God.
No. No, no, no.
The video started playing in high definition. There I was. Naked. My face was blurred out—thank God, thank God for small mercies—but my body was unmistakable. The curve of my hips, the birthmark on my right thigh, and worst of all, the sleeve. The massive floral tattoo blooming down my left arm, peonies and roses and thorny vines, bright and colorful and completely identifiable. I was on my hands and knees. A leash was attached to my collar—yes, my collar—and I was crawling across a polished marble floor toward a group of elegantly dressed people. My voice came through the speakers, breathy and desperate.
“Please,” the video-me whimpered. “I’m just a bad kitten. I need to be taught. Please let me serve you.”
I couldn’t breathe. My wine glass hit the table with a crack, but I didn’t care if it broke. My hands were shaking so badly I had to grip my thighs under the table to stop them. This was the party from three years ago. The one time I’d let go completely. Someone had filmed it. Someone had uploaded it. And now...
“We found it last month,” Lukas said quietly. He wasn’t looking at the screen. He was looking at me. “Image search technology. We were looking for tattoo references for our portrait project, and there was your sleeve. Clear as day.”
“There’s no way to mistake it,” Emma added. Her voice was gentle, but there was steel underneath. “We knew immediately. And we didn’t tell anyone, Mara. We wouldn’t.”
I wanted to run. I wanted to vomit. I wanted to dissolve into the floorboards. But my body was betraying me with a heat that pooled low and insistent between my legs. They were seeing it. They were seeing the thing I hid under buttoned shirts and strict lesson plans. The thing I touched myself to at night, alone, fingers sliding between wet folds while I imagined being caught, being forced, being finally allowed to stop pretending.
“This is blackmail,” I whispered, my throat dry.
“No,” Jonas said quickly. He leaned forward, his eyes earnest. “God, no. That’s not what this is. Look at us.”
I forced myself to look around the table. Sophie was biting her lip, her pupils blown wide. Hannah had her hand pressed to her chest like she was trying to calm her own heartbeat. Lena looked like she might cry, but not from disgust—from empathy. From want.
“We’re not going to tell anyone,” Emma said. She stood up and walked around the table until she was standing right beside my chair. She didn’t touch me, but her presence was overwhelming. “But we see you now. The real you. And we don’t want to hurt you. We want to help you.”
“Help me?” My voice came out as a squeak.
“To be what you are,” Lukas said. He paused the video on a frame where I was kissing a stranger’s boot, my back arched, my sex glistening visibly in the camera light. “You’re suffering, Mara. Hiding this. Fighting it. We can take that fight away from you. Just for this week. Just here.”
“We can give you what you need,” Sophie whispered. “If you want it.”
The silence stretched out, vibrating with tension. I was so wet I could feel it in my underwear. My nipples were hard against my bra, aching. The shame was a burning wave crashing over me, but underneath it, relief. Terrible, sweet relief. They knew. And they didn’t hate me. They were looking at me like I was something precious. Something to be claimed.
“I can’t,” I said, but my voice lacked conviction. “I’m your teacher. I’m supposed to—”
“You’re supposed to be honest,” Emma interrupted. She placed one finger under my chin, lifting my face until I met her eyes. “And right now, you’re lying to yourself. We can see how much you want this. Your breathing. The flush on your neck. You’re terrified of losing control, but that’s exactly what you crave, isn’t it? To finally just... let go.”
I nodded before I could stop myself. A tear escaped, rolling down my cheek. “Yes,” I breathed.
“Stand up,” Lukas commanded softly.
It wasn’t harsh. It was an invitation wrapped in authority. My legs obeyed before my mind caught up. I stood, trembling, in the center of the room. Six pairs of eyes raked over my clothed body, seeing through the fabric to the slave underneath.
“Strip,” Emma said. “Slowly. We want to see what you’ve been hiding from us all semester.”
My fingers found the hem of my turtleneck. I hesitated, caught in the limbo between my professional dignity and the screaming need in my core. If I did this, there was no going back. I would be naked before my students. Vulnerable. Owned.
“Please,” I whispered, not sure if I was begging them to stop or to make me.
“You’re safe,” Lena said, her voice warm like honey. “We’ve got you, Mara. Just let go.”
I pulled the turtleneck over my head.
The air was cool on my skin as I stood there in my bra, the sleeve tattoo fully exposed, vibrant and undeniable. I heard someone—Jonas, I thought—make a soft, appreciative sound. My hands moved to my trousers, unbuttoning with shaking fingers. I pushed them down, stepping out of them, leaving me in only my underwear and glasses.
“All of it,” Lukas said. “We want to see every part of you. The part that crawls. The part that begs.”
I reached behind my back and unhooked my bra. My breasts fell free, heavy and aching. Then I slid my panties down, revealing the trimmed hair between my legs, the evidence of my arousal shining on my thighs.
I was completely naked. Exposed. My tattoo seemed to pulse in the lamplight, a beacon of my identity. I tried to cover myself instinctively, crossing my arms over my chest.
“Don’t,” Emma said sharply. I dropped my arms immediately, responding to the tone before I could think. “Hands at your sides. Shoulders back. Display yourself properly, Kitten.”
The pet name hit me like a physical blow. My knees buckled. I had to lock them to stay standing.
“Look at how beautiful she is,” Sophie murmured to the group. “Look at how much she needs this.”
“Please,” I said again, the word falling from my lips naturally, submissively. “What do you want me to do?”
“Kneel,” Emma commanded.
I sank to my knees on the hardwood floor. It hurt, but the pain grounded me, focused me. I was looking up at them now, six gods and goddesses sitting in judgment, and I was nothing. A servant. A pet. Exactly what I was born to be.
“Crawl to me,” Emma said, stepping back until she stood by the sofa. “Come kiss my shoe, Mara. Show us you’re ready to submit.”
The humiliation was exquisite, a sharp blade cutting away the last of my resistance. I placed my hands on the floor—the same position from the video—and I crawled. The wood was hard against my knees, my breasts swaying with each movement. I could feel their eyes on my backside, on my sex, on the sway of my hips. I crawled across the space that had separated teacher from students, crossing a threshold that could never be uncrossed.
When I reached Emma’s feet, I lowered my forehead to the floor. Her shoe was a simple black pump, leather, elegant. I pressed my lips to the toe, inhaling the scent of polish and power.
“Good girl,” Emma whispered, and I nearly came from those words alone. “Such a good, obedient kitten.”
“We’re going to take such good care of you,” Lukas said from above me. I could hear the smile in his voice, the dominance tempered with genuine affection. “All week, Mara. You’re ours to train, to use, to cherish. No more hiding. Just surrender.”
I stayed there, kissing Emma’s shoe, tears of pure relief streaming down my face. The shame was still there, hot and bright, but it was transforming into something else. Pride. Joy. The exquisite freedom of having no choice but to obey.
“Thank you,” I whispered against the leather. “Thank you for finding me.”
“Thank you for letting us keep you,” Sophie replied softly.
And then, with gentle hands, they began.
