Summary

(Book 2) It has been months since I entered the shadowy court. I have been captured, humiliated, and forced to face many things. Mind games from the Onyx ruler and his dark ways. I made a bargain to live a life outside of a cage, then an alliance so that I might have a future. I gave up the rest of my freedom with a ten-foot tether fueled by magic that never budged. I was stuck to the ruler’s side at all times. I’ve been fatigued, tested to my limits, and challenged to enter the Sun King’s Court, whom I drove mad with a curse before I even knew of my power.
