Chapter 1
THIRD PERSON'S POV
The spaceship trembled violently as blue flames tore across the sky.
“Run, Lysandra! Run!”
Her mother's scream echoed across the battlefield.
Lysandra pressed her trembling palm against the glass of her escape capsule, helpless as soldiers dragged her mother to the ground.
Tharok, Lysandra's late husband's brother stepped forward, his eyes bloodshot with rage as he raised his gigantic sword above his head.
Lysandra struggled desperately— shaking uncomfortably.
“Mother! You have to run, please!” Lysandra screamed, slapping the windshield frantically, but all her pleas fell on deaf ears as the execution blade flashed.
And just like that her mom was gone, killed at the hands of her in-law.
Lysandra fell to the capsule's floor, her face a mask of sorrow.
She clutched her small jellyfish-like floating pet, Limo.
Green tears streamed down her face uncontrollably.
In that moment, the queen of Trivania was no longer a bride.
She became a vengeful widow, a hurt daughter, something more... something dangerous.
A woman with nothing left to lose.
It was crazy how fast the music changed, just a few hours ago she was the happiest alien alive, married to the man she loved, and heading for the post of queen of Trivania.
She stood beside her late husband Lord Thaliax, wearing the ceremonial crown of a new bride, but before the celebration came to an end…
Screams echoed through the palace.
A group of soldiers stormed the hall, leading them was Tharok, her late husband's twin brother.
Before Lysandra could figure out what really was happening Thaliax was no more, murdered at the hands of his very own brother.
Lysandra had screamed, panicked but that didn't shake Tharok's resolve.
Tharok had approached her slowly.
His words bone chillingly calm as he declared his intentions to marry her, claiming that the throne, her and everything now belonged to him.
In that moment Lysandra learned two things:
Her husband was dead, and she was now a prisoner in her own palace.
Lysandra’s mother, Zephaniah scared for her daughter's well-being had created a diversion and sneaked Lysandra into a hidden spacecraft.
Her daughter had to escape before Tharok claimed her.
As Lysandra prepared to launch, soldiers surrounded the ship.
Her mother had to make the ultimate sacrifice, with tears in her eyes she had stepped out of the ship, and destroying the control panel, giving Lysandra the much need time to escape.
And just like that Lysandra lost everything.
Bitter and angry Lysandra squeezed her pet Limo, screamed out curses, threatening Tharok and his men, but her voice got swallowed by space.
The ship spiraled out of control toward an unknown planet, “Earth."
Meanwhile, Zayn Blackwood, a genius, arrogant, over-entitled, wealthy scientist obsessed with alien life, was in deep trouble.
He had been on a rampage lately, in a desperate attempt to showcase alien life across the biosphere for the past two decades.
Over the years he had done it all, used his family power, and influence to obtain special permits to restricted government bases.
As time past he had grown cocky and had destroyed priceless government artifacts but fortunately he was let off with a small warning and some fines untill today...
Today Zayn did something that didn't just damage Government property but put all of humanity's life in danger.
Tonight he had sneaked into the Marines' special base of operations and had used the newly developed drone 75 prototype, a special type of drone which can fly out of Earth's biosphere, it could detect alien life force from miles away and automatically translate alien speech to base English language.
At first everything was going as planned, that was until the drone picked up something strange.... Alien life force and began sending in scripted texts.
The text was simple and straightforward, “Help! I'm in danger..."
Zayn has frozen from sheer shock.
He had screamed, running in circles across the room.
By the time he composed himself and was about to comprehend what had happened, a mysterious meteor collided head first with the drone— and it shattered instantly.
The shattered fragments had fallen carelessly, contaminating clean water sources.
When Zayn was called in for questioning, he strutted confidently into the boardroom thinking his money could solve the problem as always— except, this time the institute of research had had enough.
Zayn was automatically stripped of his research, his job, and licenses.
He was branded crazy and was fined the sum of a hundred million dollars for destruction of government properties.
Zayn stormed out of the board room feeling furious and humiliated.
He hopped into his car and began driving home when he spotted something that would change his life forever.
He noticed a rusty star shaped tin buried in the middle of the road.
Without thinking, he bolted out of his car, not bothering to pack properly.
His eyes gleamed with excitement, his hands trembling as he rushed towards his destiny.
Up close the star-shaped tin looked like some type of machine with a couple of buttons scattered left and right, the tin was empty drenched with a sweet lemon— cinnamon scent.
There was a blue liquid in the structure, a few silver hair-like wires laid next to it.
Zayn's survival instinct kicked in and before he knew it, he had grabbed an evidence bag— selecting what he considered relevant, and taking photos.
Zayn slowly adjusted his glasses.
His heart racing with excitement as he glanced down at all the evidence he had acquired.
“I knew it,” he whispered. “Aliens are real.”
A sly smirk crept to his lips.
“Now, it's time to find them, and end them."
