Ch.1 is all this a lie?✨🫴

As the door slowly creaked open, my heart nearly stopped.

The room was filled with mannequins.

Dozens of them.

They stood everywhere along the walls, beside tables, in dark corners silent and lifeless.

But what made my stomach twist was the blood. Dark red blood covered the floor and splattered across the walls.

I hesitated, then stepped inside.

The moment my foot crossed the doorway, the door behind me slammed shut with a loud thud.

I spun around immediately and grabbed the handle.

It didn’t move.

I pulled harder.

Nothing.

Panic crept into my chest as I turned back toward the room.

For a moment, I felt something strange… like the mannequins had moved slightly closer.

No.

No, that’s impossible.

“Mannequins can’t move,” I whispered to myself, trying to calm down.

I forced myself to breathe and started searching the room for something that could help me escape.

There were so many mannequins here.

Why would my father keep this many?

Suddenly my leg caught on something and I fell hard onto the floor.

“Ah!”

I looked down, trying to see what had tangled around my leg.

Hair.

Long strands of hair wrapped tightly around my ankle.

Maybe it was just a mannequin wig, I thought.

But when I tried to pull it away, something felt wrong.

It didn’t feel like a wig.

The hair was coming from beneath the table.

My hands began to shake as I slowly leaned forward and looked underneath.

There it was.

A mannequin head.

Its hollow eyes stared blankly into nothingness

I tried to pull the hair off my leg, but the more I struggled, the tighter it seemed to wrap around me.

“What the?!”

I grabbed the strands and pulled harder.

The head rolled out from under the table and stopped beside my leg.I picked it up with trembling hands.

The eyes were hollow. The nose was hollow too.Was my dad making mannequins here?

But… why?Suddenly something dropped onto my jeans.

At first I thought it was water.

But when I looked Close it was dark red.

Blood.

Slowly dripping from the mannequin head’s empty eye socket.A chill shot through my entire body.I screamed and threw the head away.I scrambled to my feet and turned around And froze.

The mannequins were closer.

Much closer.

I could see them clearly now.

Their hands.

Their lips.

Their eyes.

Their hair.

Everything looked disturbingly real.

Too real.

My breathing turned frantic as I spotted a small key lying on the table.Hope flashed through me.

I grabbed it and ran to the door.

My hands shook as I tried to unlock it.The key wouldn’t turn.

“It’s not even supposed to be locked!”

I began pounding on the door.

“Dad! Help me! I’m stuck in here!”

My voice cracked.

“Dad! Is anyone there?! Please!”

Tears blurred my vision as I kept banging my fists against the door.

“Dad… please open the door…”

Then suddenly

I felt a breath near my ear.

Warm.Close

A whisper followed.

“Shhh… I’m here, my daughter.”

My entire body went cold.

Slowly… I turned around.

And the moment I did I froze.

The mannequins were standing right beside me now.

Almost touching me.

Surrounding me.And now I finally understood why their

organs looked so real.

Because they were.Their bodies were mannequins…

But the organs inside them

Were human.

And now they all are staring at me!!

My back pressed against the door as I slowly tried to slide away from their gaze. Step by step, I moved toward a corner.

I could feel their eyes on me.

All of them were staring.

What should I do?

Suddenly, with a loud cracking sound, the mannequins jerked and rushed back to their original places.I was too terrified to move.

But then… I felt a presence behind me.

A breath brushed against my ear.

A voice whispered softly, “I’m here to protect you now. No one will harm you.”Slowly, a hand crept around my stomach and pulled me toward him.

I tried to pry the hand away, but suddenly two more hands clamped over my mouth. I couldn’t scream. I struggled and wiggled in their grip, trying to break free, but it was useless.

My vision began to blur.

Two hands slowly covered my eyes.

My whole body felt trapped.

The only thing I could hear was a voice whispering near my ear.

“Everything is going to be alright. No one will harm you.”

Then darkness pulled me into a deep slumber.

But suddenly

I heard my father’s voice.

“Wake up, Cami! Wake up, Cami! What happened to you? Wake up!”

Slowly, I tried to open my eyes. I struggled against the strange heaviness in my body. And suddenly the grip disappeared.

I woke up with a jerk.

My breathing was heavy.

I looked around.

I was in my house, lying near the basement door.

My dad stood in front of me, staring at me like I had lost my mind.To be honest… I felt crazy too.I was sweating, and my throat felt extremely dry.I looked around again. It was morning. But whywas I here?Did that really happen last night? My eyes moved slowly toward the basement door.

The mannequins.

The voices.

Were they real?

“Cami? Cami?”

My dad shook my shoulder.

“Are you alright? What are you doing here?”

I looked at him.

“I… I came to the kitchen for water. Then I saw the basement light was on, so I thought you were here. I came to check on you.”

I lied.

I didn’t want to tell him that I had come to see what was inside the basement.

My dad didn’t look satisfied with my answer.

He stared at me for a moment, then shook his head.

“You don’t need to check on me. And you don’t need to come down here. Do you understand?”

He looked straight into my eyes.

I nodded slowly.

“Y-yes… I understand.”

“Good. Now get up and go to your room. Freshen up. I’ll make breakfast.”

“Yes…”

I stood up from the floor and slowly climbed the stairs.

But my mind kept returning to last night incidents.

What really happened?

Did I imagine everything?

Or was it real?

Is this all real or a dream?

Do tell me how it is 🫴✨💀
