The History Of The Future [Ch-1]
It's currently the year 3000... Well It will be in a few hours... Actually It's New Year's Eve now, and there's a party being held in Central Square. Now I know all of these doesn't make any sense to you so let me give you a simple idea.
I'm writing this like a story to sum up everything that happened in the past year and let me just tell you that everything that happened seems straight out of a Sci-Fi Movie so don't expect this to be your traditional yearly dairy log of someone in any kind of way.
So now that everything is clear let me introduce myself, I'm Lucas Harker an Ex-Detective. I was a Senior Detective Working under the DTCC ( Department of Terribly Critical Cases). It was an organization set up to solve cases which even the FBI and CIA failed at. Though it was a private organization it got government recognition and was granted permission of independent investigation on cases. It was known to hold the best detectives known to man. Even though I was a Senior It was a secret organization, so I didn't get to tell many people about it. I had solved many cases but the most notable one was about the murder of a 13 year old girl. This simple murder case led to the biggest Mafia of the continent and I was successful in Arresting them. This case alone became the reason for my Senior Detective title. I solved this case when I was 20 and I joined when I was just 18. I loved this job but the amount of mental pressure I had to go through led to me quitting at the age of 22. I do still get a Monthly payment though, purely due to my contributions towards the Organization.
Now a lot has changed geographically on Earth too. Mainly through artificial means. There are only 3 continents now Henideria, Astrosa and Gasteilio. Each has other sub divisions similar to your countries as well. These sub divisions are mainly named according to Celestial Bodies. I live in the Andromeda sub-division of Astrosa which is also the largest sub division.
Now lets get back to the New Years Eve. Everyone is gathering at Central Square to attend the New Years Party and Celebrate the new Thousandth Year. I was obviously also heading there but not with nearly as much hype as others, and also alone... See my parents passed away in a Car Crash when I was 19 so since then I don't really have any friends or family, just some old colleagues I'm struggling to keep up with. I am still in touch with some friends from high school but all of them live far away from me and were celebrating with their own families. Now Let's not get sidetracked, So I had just arrived in the event location where a countdown had started. I was trying to find a spot away from the crowd when suddenly someone bumped into me.....
