Rooftops
I sit down on a seat, and my phone falls from my pocket. As I bend down to reach it the bus hits a pothole, and I hit my head on the seat in front. The phone is now directly below me, just out of reach. I take a deep breath to calm myself down, but I cannot stop being annoyed. I'm late to college, it's snowing, I've forgotten my coat and now this thing happens. How hard is it to have decent pockets?
After clearing my mind, I take a look outside. Two houses with snow covered rooftops, one closer to me than the other, and between them I could see a hill dotted with other snow covered houses. For someone who was witnessing snow for the first time, it looked like a scene from a fairy tale. "Why doesn't it snow every time?", I thought to myself.
I immediately regretted that thought, remembering how cold it was outside while waiting for the bus: I was practically frozen by the time it arrived.
