Chapter 1
As night descends, my eyelids close
And I travel to a place, which nobody knows.
When my minds alight, and my body's at ease,
Alone in my mind, nobody to please.
Sometimes delight, sometimes despair,
yet through it all, this dream world’s fair.
A place to rest; a place to sigh.
A place to explore; a place to lie.
A delightful domain, of endless imagination.
Of freedom, joy and, exhilaration.
But this realm grows dark as fears arise,
And I start to fear, I will meet my demise.
Bad memories awoken, situations unfold.
I want to get out, my dreamland has grown cold.
I scream out for help, but my throat is dry.
Trapped in my own mind, I begin to cry.
As tears trickle down, I look around,
To see my dream world empty, not a sound.
Beautiful nothingness; a blank sheet.
My once-full dream world, now looks incomplete.
I blink again, and my tears start to stop,
As I see my dream world fading and eventually stop
I'm lying in my bed, in my little bedroom.
Goodbye dream world, I will be back soon.
