Adélia
~Adélia~
They say life will lead the way for you, but it hasn't. I continuously wait for it to tell me something good will happen but it never does. I was happily with my boyfriend a year ago but now everything is ruined, and I don't know if I can survive it this time.
Jaxon Knox, there one minute, gone the next. disappeared without a thought. gone like magic. He was there right in front of me, trying to tell me something and the next he got a call. and left, without saying goodbye.
I miss him so much. I have no idea what happened, and I'm going to find out, even if it'll risk my life doing so.
~Jaxon~
Adélia Müller. The one person who has kept me sane for all these years. Since my mother got murdered in front of my face and since my father started taking out his anger on me and my little sister Viva.
I took most of the torture, trying to protect Viva. Adélia has been my rock and heart since junior year when she first started high school.
And now I'm here in Italy, Sicily. With my Papa and Viva.
Adélia must feel abandoned.
~Viva~
Jaxon Knox, is the most stupid person I have ever met, and he's my brother, which makes it worse by association.
Adélia, my best friend and the love of his life is back in fucking England, alone, without us. She's vulnerable and he doesn't even notice.
I hate that she's there whilst he is taking over Papa's empire. She should be here, with me, with him.
I'm staring at my brother as he looks at a photo of her and decide it's time. to get Adélia back.
I'm in my room, plotting a way to contact her without it getting flagged. and decide to try and find Adriano, one of my best friends and convince him to let me use his phone.
I'm at school right now, trying to find him and when I turn the corner, I see him standing in front of my locker.
I smile. "Adriano! You know your my best friend!" I whisper looking at him with a smirk.
"What do you want Viv?" He asks, looking into my eyes.
"Uh.. Can I please use your phone? It's serious business."
"Viva. What did you do?" He glares at me, and I whip my hands up in innocence. "I did nothing Adriano! Can't believe you assumed such a thing!" I glare back and smile when he gives me his phone.
I jump up and down and say, "Thank you so much Adri." I kiss his cheek as I type in Adélia's number and press the call button.
~Adélia~
My phone rings as I'm researching for a project and I pick up without looking at the caller ID. "Hello?" I ask, whilst writing some notes for a short poem I'm supposed to be making.
"Adélia?" The voice asks, quietly, and I drop my pen onto my desk. "..Viva?" I question, not believing it could be her.
"Lia." She says again. making me smile. "I've missed you." I say, looking down at my nails.
"Me too Lia. But I need you." My head snaps up, seriousness embedding into my bones. "What is it? Are you okay? Viva say something!"
"Lia, I'm fine. It's Jaxon." When she says his name, the air leaves my lungs and something scary pools in the bottom of my stomach.
When I don't say anything, she continues. "We need you here, now. He's distraught. You were the only one keeping him together Lia. He needs you." I sigh. Knowing that I don't have a choice.
"I'm yours Lia. Always and Forever." I remember when he said that to me. He was laying next to me, the waves in the distance crashing into the sand. His arm was around me and he was kissing my neck.
That was when I saw the real him. I want him back.
"Ok, what's the plan?" I ask.
"I've paid for a plane ticket for you to come to Italy, Sicily. All you need to do is get packed, board the plane, and meet me in front of the airport." She says it like it's no biggie.
"Viva-I've never flown before. I don't know what to do!" I glare at myself in the mirror as she sighs.
"It's okay Lia. You can do it. You're amazing and I'll see you as soon as possible."
"Mhm.." I murmur as she says, "Okay, I have to go. The bell is about to ring. I'll see you tomorrow." And hangs up. I look down at my phone and sharply Inhale.
I'll see you soon Jaxon.
Once everything is packed, I drag it all to an awaiting taxi and say, "To LHR Airport Please." And hand them a few 20 dollar bills.
as the car begins to move, I look out of the window at the beautiful scenery of England. Buildings forming into trees as we make it out of England and toward the Airport.
When we get there, I give the driver a tip, grab my things, and head inside.
Showing them my ticket, I head off to put my luggage in and smile at one of the security guards who is staring at me.
Once my luggage had been named and sorted for where I'm meant to be going, I head toward my terminal.
~Viva~
~How is it going Lia?~
My phone pings in my pocket, alerting me to a text. Reading it I smile
~Good, I'll be boarding soon. I'm so excited to see you!~
I send it and put it back in my pocket.
I'll miss you England.
I land in Sicily, the flight was a little bumpy but besides that, it was all good.
"Attention passengers, buckle your seatbelts. We are landing in Italy, Sicily."
I smile as I look out the window. The scenery is amazing, better than England if I do say so myself.
~Viva~
~Where are you, I'm outside, waiting for you next to a flashy car~
~I'm coming okay, Give me 10~
I sigh as I send that to her. Walking out of the plane, I head towards the luggage station and try to find my 2 suitcases.
It takes a moment to find them, but once I finally do, I head outside, looking for this said 'flashy car'.
Seeing Viva leaning against a flashy car is a sight I'll never unsee. I giggle as she scrolls through her phone and roll my suitcases with me towards her.
"Viva." I say, her head whipping up as I do so and see her gorgeous blue-ish green eyes. "Lia!" She yells, launching herself in my direction, making me squeal as her arms loop around me.
"I missed you." She says, smiling. "Me too. Now, lets get back to what we're supposed to do."
