WORLD HISTORY

The Veil of Realms

The human world exists alongside four overlapping spiritual planes, separated by a metaphysical "Veil":

The Mortal Realm - The physical world where humans dwell.

The Spirit Realm - Home to elemental spirits (fire, snow, wind, and so on) and demi-spirits.

The Celestial Realm - Where angels, divine spirits, and celestial law reign.

The Abyss - The chaotic underlayer where demons, fallen angels, and eldritch beings slumber.

A war long ago nearly destroyed all worlds when the Veil thinned-now, certain spiritually gifted humans and demi-spirits protect the barrier while hiding their existence from the public.

SPIRITUAL HISTORY

The Spirit-Fall

Thousands of years ago, Fallen Angels, once Celestial judges, descended into obsession, pride, or despair. They tore through the Veil and corrupted spirits and humans alike, creating:

Demons : Twisted spirits made from hatred, envy, suffering and many other twisted emotions and situations, can use corrupted angel powers called Daemon Energy to fight opponents or even corrupt them either temporarily or permanently depending on the power differential between the two.

Eldritch Anomalies : Forgotten, ancient forces from beyond creation that the Fallen awakened in their madness. Entities, born of entropy and emotional void itself.

Fallen Angels : Not too different from Demons the Fallen Angels can still use their full angel powers, half corrupted and called Fallen Energy to fight or even outright smite opponents.

The Veil was reforged by the Celestial Pact, a treaty between angels and elemental spirits, creating the modern spiritual order and giving rise to Demi-Spirits.

SETTING

The setting is an Earth like world called Earthen and as isn't immediately obvious for all, the populace is mostly humans with a smattering of Demi-spirits, humans account for ninety percent of the planet's population and the other ten percent is Demi-spirits- Demons, Eldritch Anomalies and Fallen Angels don't really count as citizens of Earthen since they enter from The Abyss and flit back and forth between the two realms to do their evil deeds, they can easily be called "Visitors" since they "Visit" Earthen from The Abyss every single time.

The Abyss is divided into three plains : Daemona where Demons live, Angelus where Fallen Angels live and Anomalia where Eldritch Anomalies live, each more powerful in their own plain.
